Thread: Worth to remember: Real reason why some older Jedi make up rumours
It always makes me laugh to see people with "Jedi Master" titles over their heads... its like a title that says:
"Look LOOK at me, I EXPLOITED the old FRS... LOOK at me!"

Why not? Every ranged profession can easily have thier uber Krayt/gorax/Power Cells weapons. Why can'tevery jedi have their high level weaponstoo.
I think melee professions got a huge shaft asfar as quality weapon enhancers. Ranged weapons are already hitting thier damage SAC and speed caps no problem. Melee and jedi need to have the same opportunity. This is unfair you have to admit.

dont confuse this statement with a cry to nerfs .. find one post in my history where i start a thread asking for nerfs ...ive never asked for a jedi nerf in relation to my BH proffession .... but heres the thing ... in regards to pearls ... i agree that when FRS comes .. premium crystal/pearl owners and pre CU sabers are going to have a HUGE advantage within it .. and no you cant hand out premiums to everyone ...if anything im warning jedi of a possible MLS nerf if they push for premiums too much ...
p.s. thats a nerf to sabers not jedi ... as a jedi you dont have to rely on a pre CU saber

because regular proffessions dont have the defenses to stand up to increased saber damage ...it would again balance the game in the favor of jedi and prompt even MORE people to go jedi ... forcing the devs to nerf jedi even more

If all the new Jedi had actually planned their progress the way the old ones had to you would already have your pearls. The problem is that tons of people went from having six open FS lines to finished template in an amazingly short period due to Respecs and High XP groups. Once they finished though they realized that unlocking and grinding XP were only part of the reason Jedi is a tough profession. They found that being hunted and needing to have a good saber were also part of the devs grand plan for making Jedi "hard".
A saber with 4 +120 dmg pearls is an extremely rare weapon. While you like to act like everyone who finished Jedi pre CU has one, the truth is only the hardest core players have one. They earned theirs by tuning 200 - 500 pearls pearls, and had to kill thousands of dragons or buy the pearls with credits they spent thousands of hours earning. Now you want to have one after tuning just 20 or so pearls.
The older Jedi do not fear competition from the new Jedi, they want you to earn your saber like they had to.
You need to stop pretending that other Jedi fear you or want to keep you down and just face the fact that you have chosen a very ineffective template. That is why you die in pvp so fast, that and the fact that you have killed so few dragons that you do not warrant having a saber any better than yours currently is.

Quite the contrary, my pikeman/doc/tk can handle just about every jedi template. Regular professions can and do have everything they need to dispatch jedi. Jedi are supposed to be able to handle regular professions not cower in fear of the doc or combat medic. Armor Break sliced recon armor and medic x/x/4/x is all you need right now to defend against a jedi, and that is really sad
People will go jedi regardless; making and keeping jedi weak will not help any.
