I'm in the same boat, 22 professions, two village branches and 6 months of grinding my Jedi to full template. I finished a couple of weeks before the CU.
If I had known that premium pearls would be no more, I'd have built my alt into a Krayt killer instead and spent the last 2 months before the CU hunting them.
It's not a pre-Cu / post-Cu Jedi divide, it's a premium pearl divide.

Oh, no problem. When I unlocked right after publish 10 (well, had to do one village tree), Jedi was very powerful and something to strive for. The irony I was trying to allude to, was that by the time I finished my template, Jedi became alot easier to obtain. Now had I spent that time I did the grind farming credits and pearls/crystals I would be alot better off.
I'm not a power-gamer or a PvP wh0r3, I did the grind becauseI admire the ideal of a Jedi knight. However, had I known better I would be better off today.
The Pearls will be back eventually...
A lot of the PVP is more about numbers then about individual skill anyway. Large scale pvp is about who is better organized and how fast theplayers can all kill the same target. A single Jedi has no chance when 10 jedi are all trying to kill at same time. Even one vs one duels a jedi lightsaber isn't what loses the duel, its who runs out of mind first makingfod buffs very valuable and so on. I seldom see duels that result in loss due to running out of force as the players go at it untilone side can no longer heal themself. I would also like to point out that many of the Jedi with the uber sabers are also battle hardened pvp players who have learned to use more then just their saber to win battles. The variety of different templates u face as a Jedi also makes it so there is not one template that can dominate all other Jedi as there is always someone out there who has skills who can counter your own.
At times it makes me wish that they would fix powers as a viable alternative to lightsabers as would like nothing more then to stop the pursuit for the perfectly crafted saber and use the force to pounce my enemies. I can also say that I will not pay the 30 million plus that premiumpearls are getting on the trade forum and will simply wait until swg gets a clue and fix the saber crafting system.
I have a friend who have grinded Jedi for 11 months now. She have 1.2 million left.
there is no doubt in my mind that people with PRE CU pearls and PRE CU sabers .. would rather not have new jedi get these ... because it gives them an advantage in FRS ...
but heres the deal ... you cant give out those premiums to all jedi ... jedi as of now are too powerful .. and most players as of now are only interested in becoming jedi ...
now im not asking for jedi nerfs ... i think nerfing on both ends has to stop ... but heres the thing, you cant let more prem. pearls drop cuz all jedi would be uber.. and yet you cant let jedi witout prem pearls be slaughtered by jedi with them ... so whats the fix?
the only feasable thing i can see is to bring down all pearls to the max damage of 100 and nerf all pre CU sabers in this fashion ...
im sure everyone will disagree .. but im being honest thats the only feasable route to take ... if you push for premiums you will get nerfed .. trust me on this jedi ..

Your post is derisive and intended to split the comunity even more. You already said you could have collect as many premiums as you could ever have wanted and didnt. Im not talking about jedi now I talking to you. Your post is only intended to get people backs up . Why dont you just post we need better crystals, why bring in this stupid thread about slagging a group of players who have what you havnt.
Your out of order and no better than those who slag post cu jedi.
I feel no community with people who work against half of it.

Ok im a post CU jedi... but as you see from my register date ive been here a damn long time......All the pearls in my saber are good quality not one premium at all

LOL....and of those 17...I wonder how many are posting that they do not want you to have access to the same pearls they have in their Saber.
