Just curious, where are you getting this info from?

The "fix the game" posts are more common than "reinstall the pre-cu" posts.

that doesnt really mean anything, seeing as about 40-50% of players who play come on to these forums......

Her posts are usually more thought out than that one. Seems she's getting more emotional that rational. It's a shame.

Outside of the larger player base...
What was good about Pre-CU again? Please, refresh my memory.
Cities were populated, each profession had a reason to play the game. Doctors could make a living off of buffs, crafters who excelled at their profession would become known server wide, melee combat characters could actually tank things, dots had an effect that you actually had to care about, states worked, pvp wasn't nearly as mindless as it is today (snare snare snare snare root snare snare snare). The Dev's stated that they wanted to make it so you didn't have to get buffs or all of that jazz to play the game, however they also stated that they wanted to bring everyone together to rely on other people as well. Last I checked I just wander around doing nothing for hours at a time and every 2 months I stock up on some basic childs play food, Blob, Kanali, Spice Tea, and the occasional 4 crates of Booster. This allows me to do pretty much anything in the game. Nothing has been balanced, there are FOTM templates for pvp and pve, both of which will win every time. The only thing that has changed is a bunch of new bugs were introduced and they dumbed down the whole game. Crafting is a joke, since everything is pretty much the same, pvp is a joke now because if you can move its a miracle with all the stringed roots and snares. Before you actually had to think, you wanted the best set of armor, the best buffs, the best Weapons (even if some were over powered). When you fought you worried about states and dots and knock downs. You get knocked down now you just hit a button and up you go (most of the time, since its bugged as well). Anyways, this is just a quickly thought out rant at how you could forget what was better about Pre-CU. Everyone could do their own thing, if you wanted to rule in PVP/PVE/Crafting then you worked at getting the best equipment and learned your skills, not have them handed to you because you were too lazy or just didn't want to put in the effort to obtain that stuff.

will never let it go, well better let swg go aswell thou cause swg is dying with CU, why play a game packed with bugs with a "wannabe" wow, eq2 engine when you can just go play one of them. Packed servers, less buggs.
I played this cause it was different and i love star wars. And ill never let preCU go, cause i loved that came.

A proof that the developers don't "read" the boards is Gizmo. If they are ignoring Gizmo's ideas what makes it think that they will listen to yours ? By the way didn't know you worked for Sony.

That's like saying "I saw on CNN that ppl like bush so he must be the best" your information is not from the whole player base, it's only from the jedi forums......

Pre-cu and starwars is two different things.

Pre-cu was about dots, powerhammers, vibroknucklers and composite armor. None of them are native to the starwars world.

That's nonsense -A push for a PreCU combat style is just as much a push to the future and fixing the CU.
