Thread: Any Jedi With Master Powers Or Cloak Should Be Given A Respec
Sorry folks, not everyone has the time or is able to change their template out of master powers or even one tree with millions of xp in the hole. I don't have cloak, but I don't ever log on my Jedi anymore because it's getting really really bad and sucks.

I in no way said we couldn't handle ourselves by suplementing with other jedi specifications. I don't want to imply that Master Powers is not a viable template... but if you are under the impression that Master Powers is up to snuff as a offensive profession in this game you are sorely mistaken. I have no problem taking certain fights without trouble; however I do have a problem rectifying in my mind the fact that the devs consider powers alone an offensive horse of some sort; as we are easily overtaken in almost all offensive categories by other professions both jedi and non.
Like I said... I am not saying you cannot win; but I am saying that it takes more than the abilities from Master Powers to do it. And I am not only talking PvP here, high end PvE too.

but yes i do kind of agree with u its not as powerful as it should be, i do fine in pve and pvp and do very well in group pvp, powers is very much a group pvp prof awsome for crowd control i think. im not to sure i agree with being over taken by most profs though, it really does depend on what u have with powers that makes it good (yes it shouldn't be that way MLS doesn't have that problem) but hey, also u neever know we might get a respec for the FRS but i doubt that

White Scar Elite founder and leaderI agree with you 110% on this one. The Dev's are treating Master Powers like it is Master Lightsaber. You cannot even compate the 2 for offense and damage output.

Aside your sarcasm, a full fledged dedicated master powers Jedi should NOT suffer the penalty of a so called first-strike ability with the upcoming nerf that doesn't fit their damage output and cloak is 90% used as a master powers' defense, NOT offense. Imagine you have to stand still for force lightning to work, choke gets negated by Jedi defenses, breech hits a barn side once every 2000 years, intimidate/mindblast/throw/weaken a big waste of action/force.
what exactlly is this alpha strike anyway im not 100% sure what it does so my decission is pretty much based on the current situation

and master healers should be given one because well... they're master healers.... it alwaysgoes on.
You were granted a token respec for a reason. Just because a change to your skill occured, it doesn't mean you should automatically be granted a respec. +1
BTW threatening to quit is like the biggest cry for help ever omg. Dude, turn on tv, do something else and calm down, the world isn't going to end over SWG. It's football season, find a team and step away from the pizza boxes.
