Repeat until the jedi is full, then EDrain again.....
To which you replied that isn't his concern.

reports i am hearing state that it isnt that big of a deal. I dont know how long you've been around but this is always the case...the "nerfs" are never as bad as they seem.
Oh and Electrolyte Drain has a 5m range. In order to apply it, the CM must be within 5m . . as he is coming up to apply it, hit him with a suppression, stasis, forcewave.

lol yeah right so then we are trying to stay close to him again....but wait geez we are within 5 meters again your theory doesn't hold water dude.
There's no reason to fight a BH.
So, I don't.
End of story.
They can try to snare me or whatever the hell they want. Root or Stasis, run/logout/login alt, shake head in shame that this game continues to have no reason for a Jedi to fight back against a BH. None whatsoever.
I have way better things to do than fight some lame cookie cutter cheesbox MBH with Combat Medic for an hour just to get NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING out of it, except an opportunity to fart and miss a combat move, and lose over 400k Jedi xp.
For the love of God, all BH's hunting Jedi are now MBH's. MBH's used to give FRS points - what's the friggin problem here, Devs.
Now you are just trolling...

if you keep him healing, KD recovery, etc, he wont have time to ED you. . .
You know what else i would like to know? All of you, Xull especially, if you do not have the tools necessary to defend against BHs, why do you have vis?

they can spend all this time making a new food but they cant do a simple adust on a 2 minute timer. This dev logic gets worse every time i look at this board... to make the food the devs had to do artwork, calculate numbers in as effectiveness, make a list of ingredients, make it to use in schematic form and then code it into the game again. what a waste of time to fix a simple timer problem...

2 years + of observing lameness at it's most fruitful fullness.

I don't fight them either, but only because they never seem to come after me. It's really weird. Couple of Jedi in guild get BH 24/7, and I always have high vis and get nada. Then again, I chose to be able to kill BH rather than Jedi, so I am Master Powers, and when they used to come after me, they used to go home in a box:
Powers > BH/CM > LS > Powers > BH/CM > LS > Powers > BH/CM > LS > Powers > BH/CM > LS > Powers > BH/CM > LS > Powers > BH/CM > LS...
The circle is now complete...
no, i dont mean to (i try VERY hard to not troll) but really.........most jedi have included an array of tools in their template and whenever lower level padawan cannot handle themselves I always wonder why. Its not trolling, i ask my own guild padawan that question each time. .

fair enough...ok...I was going to wait but here are my questions:
What specifically does this balance?
What are the pros and cons for melee vs ranged?
Why does a low level skill in most cases are nullifying a Master level skill on such a degree?
What specifically does this balance? (yes...i put that one down twice)
RANCOR WHIZ IS NOT THE ANSWER...It only affects ED (perhaps we all need some viagra instead of Rancor Whiz)
I think that adding snare under the "rage timer" would be a solution that we could be somewhat happy with. I am just as disgusted as everyone else over this. . . there was no need for this change and the ONLY people who wanted it were BHs. Plain and Simple. The community as a whole didnt care...it was the BH's hate of force run . . . I only try to remain positive and suggest how we can counter the snare wars which are coming. . .

Its lame for many reasons.
One of them being (as I understand it) is that it is a defensive mod. I have to have it in my belly to be useful.
reports are that if you drink it after you get hit with ED, it takes the ED away, and grants immunity from other EDs during it's (quite short) duration, so that's not as bad as first appeared.
With a short duration time...it is going to be very difficult to manage along with all the other crap I ingest for a fight.
/agree. and as liani already knows, i'm my own chef, i don't have to shop for food or pay for it since i make my own, but i still get irritated at inventory and filling management issues.
If they make it longer duration..or at least use it as a debuff....then maybe it is okay.
I do agree that it is silly that a chef can do something I can't do in spite of millions of Jedi xp spent on defending myself.
damn skippy!and i say that as a chef on one toon, and a jedi with FR2 on another toon.
the part that really bothers meis the whole concept of afood for one combat move, that only one profession has. if they really think that all snares except for ED are balanced enough without food, why add a food for that one case? why not tone it down to where they consider it balanced too? no i'm not calling for a CM nerf, in addition to the chef and the jedi i have an MCM and she's wicked fun to play, but i just don't understand the concept of adding a whole new food to counter one skill.

Why not just put in food/drink with Armour Break cures, Choke cures, Sap cures... or have I just predicted the next 'In Testing' post?
