Honestly that doesn't bother me. I've had that happen to me plenty. The problem I have with it, is when you try to play the game in places like the DWB, and you have a cloaked jedi bringing agro to you, for no reason but just trying to be nasty. THAT isn't fun, and that, I think, is the primary reason behind it.

The only reason that it's being nerfed is because of all the jerks who turned exploiting the weak points in the cloak system into an entire new way of gaming.
I'm an MDEF, but I hated seeing mini gangs of jedi taking down turrets under the old AI system. I'd watch as they ran up to the turret, spammed a load of hits, then ran back to their buddies....who would feed them some force and off they'd go again. I hate having the snare on AI, especially when it stacks into a root. But it's only that way thanks to the abusers, the same with these cloak changes.
Having cloak as an "I will never die" button is far worse than the future of cloak as it will be...

How have they changed this? If im losing i can still force run away and cloak. the only way you can hurt me then is by exploiting the /follow and doing area attacks with your friends. this will be fixed eventually and will be reported until fixed

The Cloak nerf is a travesty. And I remember seeing a few people who are upset with the cloak nerf who applauded the AI nerf. I repeat, THE C♦LOAK NERF IS indeed a TRAVESTY.
That being said. If it comes to pass as most of us are reading it to come.....Is this enough to finally make each of us Jedi understand WE ARE A GROUP. We are NOT Defenders, Powers, MLS, Enhancers, Healers. WE ARE JEDI.
It is going to be completely appropriate for us to fight for our skills to be fixed/enhanced/not nerfed and so forth.....But we need to learn that divided we will ALL lose. The more we all yell for nerfing our fellow Jedi, the more the "others" win in their calls for our nerfs.
I am sure there will be BH's trolling our board. I am sure they will have something to say. I am sure it will be a differing opinion to mine, or ours. But that is ok.
We know the facts of what the promise of Jedi was supposed to be. We understand completely how tremedously SOE had fubared their promises to alot of classes, and we are one of those.
Together we HAVE to understand the first person who is Jedi, who yells NERF, is not a Jedi in the least. And as such, should not be fought or encouraged with the attention they get.
Lets focus on getting our proefession, JEDI, the best it can be.
I know....a pipedream.....But, I felt the need to voice my opinion when I counted 3 people in particular who screamed their support for the nerf of AI, and now are yelling about their nerf.....and they are RIGHT this time....stop the damn nerfs SOE...

The nerfs will continue endlessly, stop going up in arms every time they occur. It's the fault of the majority of Jedi players who will take any tool and find the most creative / original way to abuse it to the best of their ability. This causes nerfs of abilities that may have had other good utility purposes.
It's called stupid-proofing software, and for a game like this stupid proofing = nerfing. Unfortunately there are a lot more stupid Jedi than responsible ones, so expect many of your useful abilities to get nerfed if they provide any sort of angle for abuse.
