Thread: Fix the cloak agro bug/exploit

you guys are all a buncha whiny kids. He came here to ask for this exploit to be fixed and you all start flaming him cause you have nothing better to do. It's really stupid that a group of 3 jedi and a crafter can make jetpacks and mando armor and it needs to be fixed. And Arias helped craft the second jetpack ever made in SWG, only lost to eclipse by 2 hours, meaning he did it pre-cu, without cloakers even existing. Now go back and crawl in your little holes and stop flaming people who are actually making legitimate posts asking for an exploit to be fixed.

We made 4 jetpacks in 30minutes a few days before the CU...WE CAN DO IT WITH A CLOAKER NUB NOW its soo easy omg

the jedi forum definitely has the most flamers, mainly because it's a lot of people who think they should be better than others because their jedi. I think the BH's have more whiners because honestly, BH just sucks now.

So because he helped craft the 2nd jetpack in the game we should all bow down to him? Nodevs hasever said cloaking to drag aggro was an exploit and until they do you won't be finding much sympathy

Have you tried this method? It's actually harder than you may think, and requires careful tactics.
Not to mention the force loss the cloaked player gets due to all the NPC's down there.
Indeed, I have. it was a walk in the park. Using the cloak agro is an EXPLOIT. I really doubt that the developers intended you to get agro when you cloak, so by definition, those who use this method are exploiting: Using a bug to gain an unintended advantage over other players. And no, I'm not saying this because I'm an elitist and I don't want people to have all the cool stuff I have. It just makes me angry that after all the hard work I've been through (crafted my first jetpack september 3rd, 2004, literally the DAY they fixed jetpack crafting), people can just waltz in and do it with little to no challenge.
You act like your the only person to ever do anything pre-cu, I crafted jetpacks pre-cu, done it with and without cloakers post-cu. And believe it or not even with a cloaker everyone can die. I really hope a dev posts here and clear this mess up one way or the other.

Cloak has been this way since it was released with the CU. I've never seen a Developer comment
on the taking of agro while cloaked being a bug. So what makes you think this is an exploit?
