Thread: So How it would be in a Lucas movie? Jedi vs Doctor fight.

Yeah no doc killed a jedi in the movies, point granted.
Now can you direct me to which movie has more jedi than ordinary people? I must have missed it somewhere. I'd have no problems being insta-killed by jedi, because thats how it should be. The only thing.. kiss your jedi goodbye, because there should only be three, Luke ,Vader, Sidious.
Cant have your cake and eat it too - asking for "realism" and "keeping it cannon" only when it suits jedi.

Funny is not it? IMHO it is not. I am sick of SOE and all of you whining that jedi is too strong.

rofl thats funny. forgot to mention that the droid he has next to him, you swing at it and it cuts in half. THEN he throws alittle blue ball and it comes back together again! OMFG **edit**!!ONE11

The fight may well go like this.
Doctor slips a viral toxin into the Jedis drink.
Jedi falls over retching his guts out.
Doctor blows the head off the incapacitated Jedi.
If this game was more like the reality it's supposed to be, Jedi would be an endangered species.

You forget the ability of a Jedi (in movies and books) to sense danger, like Obi did in the cantina, and took out the villian (episode 2) while having a drink. So it holds they would sense danger in the drink.
Fav scene in Episode 2, when Jango lost his head, now that would be a neat addition to SWG, let us behead the BH that comes for us! Muahahahahahahaha

mate your post is excellent but, could ya do me a favor? Could you Edit that last line with something like: SOE you see there is some missing logic here? Why you not focus on making this situation more balanced? like a Snare or something... nerf them for the sake of Balance! Or even fix our Speed in LS and improve our power in Powers, soo we match those uber Non-Jedi...

i actually agree with the thought about so many jedi, they should have went with the KOTOR (Knights of the Old Republic) time period LOL then thier would be a full jedi order, and the only 3 argument would not exist. and the whole jedi Training could be jedi academy based.

A Jedi's ability to sense danger ?
A very old Jedi Master's ability maybe.
Did Quai-Gon & Obi-Wan sense the gas trap on the Trade federation ship ? No.
Did they sense the arrival of Darth Maul ?
No.
Did any Jedi apart from Yodasense the Clone Troopers were about to execute Order 66 ?
No. The troopers got the drop on them all, rather spectacularly in some cases. Only Yoda survived.

Quite simply a jedi against any non jedi should not be this bad off. I get so mad when I get on my MBH/MCM and can take out jedi easy, then get on the jedi and am lucky to survive.

Did Qui-gon sense trouble but was unsure, YES
Jedis are very powerful, but SOE hasn't a clue and all the lil non jedi whine to their dev and csr friends incesently and get their way. The game bites now, format the drives and turn off the sabers..
