The part about having a speeder out is not a good idea. I disable them in1-2shots. And if you get on the speeder I'll KD you and then kill the speeder. I've never had a mark be able to escape successfully on his own speeder.

As I said, some BHs can sucessfully deal with speeders and some can't. I've seen many padawans get away successuflly on their own speeders, and I've seen many speeders blown up. This is why I personally just say screw it and just fight the BH but it's still an option for those who want to try.

Thanks for a great guide, I'm just starting out as padawan (5xNovice + LS 0200 + Heal 2000 + Def 0040 + Master RM), and I've had a lot of fun implementing those macro's. I still make way too low damage to use the lightsaber, but it works great with the rifle.

I have a main macro that triggers a foodbuff/follow/equip rifle macro, a force infuse macro, and a force aura macro. These work great and reapply themselves perfectly when I am using my rifle. However, when I use the lightsaber (I tried duelling a friend), the macro dosen't always update properly because of the long LS cooldown times. It's really hard to get the times right when you don't know what attack you will need to use before the fight.

Has anyone else here had any problems/solutions to macroed states not reaplying properly? I'd love to get some feedback on this.

Again, the guide is fantastic, this should be stickied.

aura will reapply regardless so if you over write it with an attack you can reapply it. if you hiccup and miss your infusion reapply it . unfortunately your timing will be off so the next time the macro fires you'll get a message stating you already have an enhancement of this type active.

With practice you can work around the timing of your infusion, or you can just dump the macro and restart it.

saber throw first thing, this attack will kd 90% of the time you first use it, and that gives you that precious second to a. clear your head(most important if your like me, and not a pvp expert, i tend to panic for a second, and this lets me get back under control), and b. take your foods and spices.

its always my first move(well, right after i hit the kd recovery).

great guide. I have one question. I am having troubles getting the panes to switch tho. It just hits the buttons on the toolbar I am on. Is anyone else having this trouble?

double check what the original poster says the macro is supposed to say and look at your code very carefully. i've gone crazy in the past thinking something was wrong and all I was missing was one little space.

A Jedi's best defense against a BH is simply not get yourself on the terminals. Unfortunately that means not grouping which means slower experience gainand powergamers hate that. But with great rewards come great risk.

A Jedi's best defense against a BH is not to poop thier pants when they get attacked. If you panic the fight is already lost.

Do yourselves a favor and practice getting attacked on your alts as a Special Forces member while going about your buisness in populated areas. It may not be the total answer but you can sure learn to calm yourself down and react to getting attacked.

Yea, I have gone crazy in the past too. I will double check again but I think I had it written correctly as I checked once. Maybe I missed something.

Alternatives to Fighting

The first two options are generally looked down upon by BHs and you may get tells complaining about you exploiting the system, etc. The first is not an exploit because of the BH TEF, which I have had happen post CU. The second is not an exploit because there are ways for the BH to get around it and you are very vulnerable anyways.

Portable House Tactic

Carry a house around with you and place it at each mission you get to then run into it if you see someone approaching. If the BH attacks you before you get in the house you will have a BH TEF which will prevent you from entering any private structure.

Multi-passenger Speeder Tactic

Have a friend offer you a ride in their speeder and take off. The downside to this is you are vulnerable while in the speeder and the BH can still KD you and you will fall out of the speeder. You can also not heal while in the speeder so I look at this as a last ditch effort. Note that the BH can not attack your friends speeder or your friend, only you.

Great guide with the exception of these 2 things. My personal opinion is the first one is an exploit, houses were not designed to be portable shield barriers. This will get nerfed somehow eventually and if all of the clowns doing this are not careful we may lose the protective sanctity of our houses to a nerf.

The speeder while not an exploit is bush league, and I'm sure that this will get nerfed too somehow. Again possible to the point that nobody will be allowed to mount speeders if attacked then where will all of us be?
