Thread: The crystal isn't fully bonded to you, let me re-attune it...

I agree, 3k T21 > crystals

well i suggested the idea of allowing people to retune crystals/pearls in exchange for a loss in condition. Such as a crystal with 1000/1000 condition tuned to be 5/5 dmg and -1fc. YOu would then be allowed to retune the crystals and say the condition drops to 900/900 and maybe this time you get 15/15 and -4fc. This could repeat till you either get a tune you like or your condition gets to the point of not being usable anymore. This would allow those poor crystals a chance to be worth something and thus would take care of the situation you are describing.
I don't think that works well in terms of "fairness" with those who's weapon stats never change when they repair them. The only get condition loss.
I would say its fair. I tune a Crystal for 50/50 -9fc at 1000/1000 condition. My friends tunes his crystal 5 times and gets a 50/50 -9fc at 500/500 condition. Whats wrong with that? Yes the stats maybe the same, but the one person has half the condition and thus is not anywhere better off. In my experience poors, fairs and most goods are useless. My proposal give the person the chance to get good stats off a poor crystal. This would eliminate teh need for millions of credits to buy premiums when you can get just as good of stats from a less quality crystal.
I understand what you're saying, but don't you think you're basically taking down the value of a premium crystal? I mean, why bother spending X amount of time fighting a 300k+ HAM NPC for a premium when you can easily, without effort, take down the Janta cave a few times and come away with tons of crystals you can reroll an infinite amount of times (until their condition reaches 0) until you get something that satisfies you?

i like your idea as well to allow us to fix ours. The only problem would be is you still need to get either millions of credits to buy premiums or have an alt to go get them for you. Either scenario is unacceptable to me and most hate paying millions for a random chance.
I agree with you there.

Yes thats exactly what im saying. Jedi are not millionaires in the movies or books. They have no need for material possessions and that includes money. The idea that we are to pay for crystals or have someone else get them has been the biggest flaw in the whole system. I still cant believe the Devs dont see how silly the system currently is.

2. The anti-decay kit only works on weapons and items that can be insured.

And this...
BHM wrote:Can we have a clarification about weapons?-They can't be insured but you said that we can use the no decay item on weapons-If that is the case, will it stop battle decay? Because they don't decay upon cloning. In my opinion the rewards should be non-tradable but it makes no sense that you only get 1 per account. If they aren't tradable (like mark of hero ring) there's no cross-server trade problem.. yet it allows those who play on more than one server to actually enjoy the rewards.Anyway, they should really be non-tradable: everyone is worrying about no decay items used to save the condition of exceptional weapons, but in the other hand if they are tradable one could keep a BE suit with skill mods forever.. which would once again raise the price of CAs.-Correct. The anti-decay kit can be used on weapons.
-Yes, it stops battle decay.
As far as the items being tradable, remember you'd have to actually find people willing to part with their rewards. While there will be some people willing to do that, I don't think it will be the norm. Especially for the 6 and 12 month rewards.

Yeah I know this has been brought up hundred of times that he said weapons. My question to you is how many weapons have you actually been able to insure? Im pretty sure the list is extremely short, possibly to the point of being empty

I agree, but the blasted devs want to force us in the economy, only to the degree that other classes are not./sigh
sadly they have forced us into the economy. Maybe something good will come of all this.

Are u retarded or something? It's in plain English, "weapons and insured items" is the grouped together clause with the "can use the anti-decay kits" describing it. Is that better? Gosh get it thru your thick skull, it will work on weapons.
Airgunnar wrote:
What Im trying to hint to is, that weapons arent insurable, therefore the kit wont work on them. Now unless they plan on making them insurable when they come out with this stuff, I dont see worrying about it And actually the keyword in that statement is still insureable.
