Are u retarded or something? It's in plain English, "weapons and insured items" is the grouped together clause with the "can use the anti-decay kits" describing it. Is that better? Gosh get it thru your thick skull, it will work on weapons.

What Im trying to hint to is, that weapons arent insurable, therefore the kit wont work on them. Now unless they plan on making them insurable when they come out with this stuff, I dont see worrying about it And actually the keyword in that statement is still insureable.

When was the last time you insured a weapon????? You guys seem to be the ones with the thick skulls. Unless they are adding it with the patch weapons werent insureable.
is this idiot for real?
weapons AND Insured items work with it....
So if its a Weapon OR an insured item it can use the non-decay kit... is that simple enough?

I must be, because at this point weapons arent insureable. And that point has been brought up in just about every thread dealing with this on every forum. So if someone can put up a link where it says that weapons will be insureable after the patch that would be great.

well i suggested the idea of allowing people to retune crystals/pearls in exchange for a loss in condition. Such as a crystal with 1000/1000 condition tuned to be 5/5 dmg and -1fc. YOu would then be allowed to retune the crystals and say the condition drops to 900/900 and maybe this time you get 15/15 and -4fc. This could repeat till you either get a tune you like or your condition gets to the point of not being usable anymore. This would allow those poor crystals a chance to be worth something and thus would take care of the situation you are describing.
Man, thats a good idea, lol.
Unfortunately, it will go the way of most of the forum suggested good ideas..... ignored by development ![]()

But they never said that weapons will be insurable. That isn't the point. As I posted above (the dev's comments), weapons will be able to use the anti-decay kit. It doesn't matter whether they're insurable or not, they can use it. It clearly states it right there. That is why it isn't fair that Jedi cannot use the anti-decay kit on a single crystal, which also is not insurable, but in a small way is our weapon (or part of it).

I dont think it would be a really hard thing to code either. I personally dont think its a coding issue, but more of a the "current system works and why change attitude".

love the idea!

I've never completely understood why we can't "repair" our decaying crystals, especially considering the cost and/or amount of time required to obtaining them. Now with the anti-decay kit allowing 3k damage T21 Rifles to roam the galaxy forever, yet we cannot use the same kit for one of our four crystals required for a 4th generation saber, I think we need a small bone thrown our way!
In playing KotOR2, after you obtain a particular crystal, you can have it "re-attuned" to you. I see this like crystal decay. The crystal is losing condition, becoming "unbonded" to you, and it needs to brought back in tune with you. You should have the option to tune this crystal again. The stats stay the same, but the condition becomes 100%, at a lower cap than before. This is just like repairing any weapon, or armor, it is no different.

Problem with the decay-kit is that its tradable.
All you need is to accumulate 3 more kits, buy them for a high-price, and you now have a 4th gen saber, with flawless peals that dont decay.

or let us give crystals to other with a decay penalty, hehe. I have a Knigth friend who has like 50 + pearls with -7 and 25-45 dmg that he doesn't use because he only uses his 50 -9 stuff, which kills me because others in guuild grind with only color crystals int eh saber, hehe.
