Bac, cloak has become an escape button for the simple reason that all cloakers that are not force wielders use it mostly to loot without problems, and those who are force wielders are too weak to fight ANYONE until master, and still unable to fight jedi when they are master ( i will laugh a lot when frs will be up )

Do they want to solve these problems? they can:

1- make impossible to loot from cloaked

2- take this skill away from the game, together with power tree as it will be useless

well....the third case is that dev team want most jedi to quit, so that they can put a remedy to the mistake they did makeing jedi slot easy to unlock.

why should a jedi who is too weak to defend himself be able to manipulate the force enough to make himself completely disappear from someone during combat

lol, obvoiusly you have no idea how bad this skill will drain your force. You put a snare like the one on AI and I can assure you by the time you get next to one of these overt groups you'll be 50-25% force left. I've through cities and my force drains fast.

It will not be a viable first strike attack EVER if the snare is implented in the same way as AI.....not unless you plan to send a tell to your victim and ask them to meet you in a secluded spot so you can surprise attack them. I mean it'll take you about 5 mins to crawl to them still but eventually you'll make it.

wow thats why our guild has people that sit in player cities for extended time with cloak on. If you know where to be sitting it wont take much force, and it doesnt take that long to get up on them, atleast close enough to give them a good jolt of lightning

See thats my thing. People need to learn their skills before they cry nerf or that they are underpowered. I know plenty of powers jedi that are really good at what they do because they know their template.

Most the people from my server that cry nerf or that powers are underpowered etc etc are the ones going around full template with a pvp rating under 1100 and just dont know how to effectively use their template.

Just like the respec bh vs oldschool bh.

Fixed your response. You have no idea how long it will take to get into position after this nerf but I can guess after seeing the AI snare.

A good jolt of lightning.......im surprised you could use that adjective with lightning and still keep a straight face lol.

You can't compare a gunin this situation it makes no sense ... and if you can loot cloaked guess what it's working as intended. So how about the devs think before throwing us some random skill ?

This has nothing to do with really being underpowered, it has to do with one skill and will it still be viable after being snared. The answer is no, not by the intended design stated by the devs. Alpha strike requires you to be able to get into range and surprise your enemy (just like BH's), are you saying BH's should be snared the moment theyget within 100m of a Jedi? After all we don't know if they are a BH or not so it's still technically an alpha strike whether or not they appear on our radar or not.

You got to be kidding right? Give me a application in which cloak is to be used after this nerf other than standing in one place invisable and why would I want to do that? There are plenty of mechanics that can be put into place in the instances where the cloak is being exploited (cry away BH) The rooting on cloak has got to be the most unreasonable thing I have ever heard of. Cloak was one of the most unique and fun things about being a jedi. And don't tell me to blame the exploiters.

Droids or turrets dont have minds, how can the jedi mind trick cloak work on them? Every place the exploiters use cloak there are droids battle and

superbattle.

Interactiong with ppl i can see as dropping cloak, but why cant i open a drawer or push a button with out letting them know I'm there?

As far as the BH goes I have no care to hear them whine. They wont be happy untill we are rooted in spot defensless untill they kill us asoon as they takea

bounty on us. (Cry away BH)

I wont even to be able to just move around cloaked, scouting or just traveling. Why? Isnt that what it was intended for?

So I got a question, Does SOE look like that Credit card company where the answer is always no? Just with them the answer is allways Nerf? Do they have NERF in big paper signs all over there offices?

I want SOE in plain engish tell us what they intended cloak for?

Well since they are changeing the looting while cloaked i guess it wasnt working as intended.
