It's silly to presume just because they're on the Jedi forums means they're a Jedi. First off, the Jedi forums are the most popular forums on the site with almost the highest if notthe highest amount of total posts. Incidentally, Jedi is not the most common profession in the game and often it is players whom are bitter towards the Jedi community that post such negative responses.
Unfortunately, this inevitably will skew the feedback Devs receive from these forums. Non-Jedi will never truly understand the Jedi profession until he or she has played it first hand. The critics are no better than any critic who criticizes others and their stances without ever fully understanding their opponents' arguments - which results in baseless premises and false assumptions which in turn leads to frustration and anger that eventually resorts to ad Hominem attacks; completely irrelevant to the Jedi profession or game. It's a vicious cycle and you'll find similar patterns throughout society.

People are forgetting that Jedi are nearly untouchable (in everything but this sad, sorry game)...and this game would have us all be more vulnerable than a fat kid with asthmain dodgeball. Please people, wake up...you're lulling yourselves into a false sense of what Jedi should be within the confines of this game! Push the devs to make it more!!! If the devs get their way, Jedi will be the weakest profession in the game. Period. That's their "organic system" they've talked about since this "game" was released (even though we're still beta-testing it to this very day!!)
Personally, I've had it with them and their horridly skewed views on what Jedi should be, so I've cancelled my account. Twenty-seven months and what have we to show for it? A combat system that is putrid, an "end-game" profession that's worse than starting professions, and more bugs/glitches/errors than anyone can possibly fathom. As such, I can no longer, in good conscience, continue to fund their lack of intelligence. I only hope that everyone has the epiphany that I've had, and pulls the plug on SOE's funding. Perhaps then they'll realize how completely and utterly wrong the game is and maybe....just maybe....they'll make it right. But, if I've learned anything in the 27months I've been with SWG, it's that they never learn.

Yep the profession has been nerfed. I do agree there were things that bothered me Pre-CURB that did need some balance, 85% block would have been just stupid in this combat system. Negating an entire class by an innate skill, impossible to keep considering everyone and their mom has a Jedi. Maybe if only some Jedi had this ability but the entire class had it, gamebreaking to Ranged professions.That was just one example too.l
I say you are making a mistake, sure Jedi is underpowered and IMO a joke for the work most of the older Jedi had to go through but consider this.....devs have yet to release the FRS. IMO that is going to make or break this profession. Yeah I know, that means you have to wait 4-6 months so maybe the answer is take a break, check the forums every month to see when the FRS comes out. I'm hoping that it somehow separates a Jedi Knight from a Padawan power wise. Now I may be a little to optimistic but I do believe at some point Jedi will need a revamp. Publish 9 designed the Jedi class for a different combat system, that is all too obvious. I mean it's such none sense that the very thing that was supposed to balance us not wearing armor was removed (ls damage), I'm kind of shocked not a lot of Jedi really complain about this because IMO that's a huge advantage right out of the box.
Such a shame that the devs couldn't get Jedi prepared for the CURB, I blame top management for this though as their time schedules force the devs into situations they have to do a half ass job programming.

I saw 3 jedi once that were killing noobs like that , insulting them and all, I dueled them all at once and in 10 hits they were dead, 3 full template jedi showing off saying they were the stronger but they do not worth a penny when they have to fight a same level player. you know what I saw for the first time non -jedi that were hating jedi , applaud one jedi and this day I was proud because I give to some non jedi a reason to like us, a reason to stop complaining about us, and why? because I acted like a jedi, I helped people and stopped stupid kid to bother them. I did talked with many non jedi ig on infinity and what they were hoping a jedi to be, and you know what they told me? they told me they immagined a jedi to be a character that came to them wihile they had problem to kill krayt, rancor, ns or any elite mobs, and will get them out of problem safely without asking anything. not a guys coming from nowhere to kill all the mobs of the lair they were attacking, taking all the xp while he did not need it just to bother the poor non jedi noobs trying to grow in his profession. for them we should not see that someone is a jedi before the jedi to be attacked by a BH, or pulling his ls for helping them. and I asked them about sith and they only told me that sith are the same , they should try to remain unoticed in the city, help only the imps, fight a light jedi. from your comportement on the forum protecting yourself behind the "I 'm dark jedi" I can guess you are the same as the 3 shower off I had to teach about humility.
we should be alpha class, you worked hard to be a jedi, an upper profession character, myself I spend more than a year to be one, so act so you will be worthy of being one for christsake.
and stop insulting those that try to keep your profession worthy of the work you did to get it!!!
