What I remember is that the game have always had alot of promosing appeal, but I guess 33 professions where simply too much to keep up. Eventually everybody ended up with the same templates and the other roles where unrewarding and broken.

I felt even post-cu that grouproles where broken. It was easy just to pick up a single skilline to replace an entire profession and the entire use of a character. I felt this very well as a Master Healer.

I also felt Jedi was severly misfired. A Jedi are supposed to be an helpful and wise individual, but instead Jedi ended up with a king-of-the-hill system that where totally alien to everything I have seen in the past.

Having played KOTOR and KOTOR2 I knew what the game could have been and should have been since launch.

I think it's funny how adimently you were for, and how much you defended the CU, only to finally come out and express your TRUE feelings for it, as it is being replaced. Now are you going to speak your true feelings for the new combat system, or are you going to be saying it's the best thing since sliced bread until it is replaced?

Yes, I remember MsNil's kneejerk defence of the CU too. I thought it was disgraceful then - and I about think her flip-flop now the same way.

I imagibe she is still angling for the Jedi Correspondent job. Well, the profession is eviscerated so whether she becomes Correspondent or not hardly matters now. Let her be queen of the dungheap.

How impressive TKM was when I was still novice marksman.

Soo many great things died with the CU, was it the community's fault? could be cos of the requests for this and that but I tend to think that it would have happened anyway.

I have mine too. I was a little Marksman newbiewith a Black tatty face tatoo a green/black decorative vest and white pants with a pink bandolier. What a mess i was LOL. How about i miss: Sharnaff hunting groups

I miss getting a new Jedi skill box and seeing the new animations, I miss grinding in Rancor Valley and hitting a mob for 3500 damage when PvE was great.

Most of all I will miss Saber Dervish, Phantom Attack and everything else that made Jedi cool.

/salute to Pre-CU.

• krayt groups where half the group would be killed by tuskens on the way out


• using a 2h saber when MLS was the "requirment"


• hunting on dathomir


• all my friends who left for other games


• defending Mos Themis with my uber Musician/Swordsman


• How happy I was when I got the unlock message after 27 professions.


• Saber TEF


• Being Hunted


• Making Master Healer a workable template.

I loved leveling my Jedi alone in the wilds near the waters of Yavin 4.

I loved mowing down rancors like butter on Dath.

I miss being an MCH when MCHs ruled supreme in the pre-Jedi days.

I mourn the final passing of the SWG torch from the adults to the kids.
