Thread: Anakin was the Chosen One
Read Dark Empire I II & III
All is revealed. There's more to SW than EP 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. I stand by my original claim.

You can stand by that crap all you want. Enjoy the smell. George Lucas confirmed Anakin is The Chosen One. I hope you enjoy standing alone because no one is with you on this one.

maybe, but whatever Lucas says trumps everything else. So if he says Anakin is the chosen one, guess what, Anakin is the chosen one. canon go Lucas, Movies, Movie novels, everything else. you sir are wrong per George Lucas, NEXT
But But But But But. . . . . . . . . . . .
The sith rise again, Palpatine rises again as the Sith lord, Luke accepts him as master and becomes his father successor Liea then saves luke and her children go on to form the new Jedi order. At least I think they do, not got that far in the trology.
Just goes to show, even GL has no clue about the SW universe. What hope do we have
anakin brought balance and he was balance. [giving birth to luke and leia and being 1 of the 2 evils.] luke and leia are the good part of the balance.
watch obi-wan's face when the robot tells him padme is having twins.

I would like a specific reference to where George Lucas says this please I have all the Star Wars movies and bonus disks that I know of in existance and have never heard him say that specific phrase.
Now to clearly state the point the original book written by George Lucas a year previous to the release of Star Wars (what is now A New Hope: Episode IV) was titled Star Wars: From the Adventures of Luke Skywalker.
Two the only reason that Anakin redeems himself and kills Palpatine is because Luke refuses to destroy him. If anything Anakin destroys the balance of the force when he kills all the Jedi and sends Yoda and Obi Wan into hiding at the end of Episode III. The power shift stays in effect until Luke Skywalker reaches an age to comfront his father and help return the balance to the galaxy.
I believe this is exactly why Yoda chose to have Qui-Gon finish Obi-Wan's training on Tattooine so that he could also help watch over and protect Luke until he is at an age to redeem the Jedi Order.
I would also like to comment that the conversation between Yoda and Obi-Wan on Dagobah in Empire Strikes back when Luke leaves to go to Cloud City, it is clearly stated that Luke is there last hope and Yoda states that NO there is another. Which is quite confusing because both Obi-Wan and Yoda knew that Luke had a twin sister. Yet still the fact remains that both Yoda and Obi-Wan pinned the entire hopes of the Jedi Order on Luke Skywalker to comfront Darth Vader his father and rectify the imbalance that Anakin had created.
If this is not in clear enough English for those who still believe that the prophecy is about Anakin you can print this out and sit down with a dictionary to figure out all the words you might not be able to comprehend. It is the only way the prophecy makes sense as spoken in the movie dialogue.
Everyone enjoy your gaming and May the Force be with You Always!
a restored JO controlling the galaxy is not balance anyway.
technically Luke tipped the scale he didn't balance anything.

Um, at the time we're talking about, the Empire was in control, order 66 was in force and the Jedi were in hiding (the ones who lived). The Empire had many dark Jedi and the Galaxy was dominated by the Dark Side. That is not balance.
Ballance to me was removing the dominant Dark Side and balancing that with the new Jedi order.
It really is quite simple ![]()
