Try this as a tip as well. If you face one of these arrogent bh's /kneel while you fight, your regen rate will increase and counter the debuff and you can still use specials while /kneeling or /prone.
First, good post!
As for the quote, I read in the BH forum and the BH that posted screamed about exploit when he got a mark that used that tactic to regain his pools.

i didnt read the entire thread but here is my suggestion for a jedi who can hold their own:
- put Adv saber throw on autoattack
- use /follow on the BH so you dont have to worry about trying to follow
- if he snares you, counter with /forceWave (if you have it)
- Armor break is important...MAKE SURE you get it on him. . . alternate /ArmorBreak with /Saberhit until you see the icon
- Powerhit, IMO, is a waste of time.

How do you Counter a MBH/MRM/CM 4/0/0/0?
The same way I would attack any decent bh with a the 4000 healer line. ( on a side note, either some have very poor bacta toss enhancers or something because not all 4000 CM's are equal, some I can kill very quickly others take time)
Sadly the biggest thing is probably your saber. If your minimum damage is very low you might be in trouble. My saber is 675-575 not bad for now, pre-cu pearls but certainly not the best. Against an opponent with food buff, doc buffs, and high defenses you will be hitting very close to your minimum. Thats why rifles hit a master defender for very low amounts. Huge differences between max and min, a lightsaber is a tigher range.
With these templates I've found that if you stay in range you can dictate the fight, they will have to heal if you unload on them. Use the KD strategy! Its not guareenteed to work, but if you can keep slowly taking down health and mind.
I've had some long fights but luckly my template does not eat force (passive defenses are worth the skill points). My longest fight with this template took about 10 minutes. I had 65% force left and that fight was a blast.
However I can only speak as a master defender. If you do not have a ton of defense I have no idea what a rifleman will do to you, I assume I wouldn't like it :-p
Sadly, there are people you will be hardpressed to kill, they are rare, but with the right armor and a decent weapon, you mgiht have to run. Its disheartening but there is no point to prove you can't beat them. You'll know from experience when the fight is going nowhere, then you have to decide what to do next.
Anyone that has a better strategy please post it!

Nice tips.
Here's my steps for a BH encounter (assuming Im not out with a grind group)-
Soon as I notice him, before he even decides if he wants to attack, I run up in his face. I kick on Force Speed 2, my aura macro is always running.
Then I wait on him to give me that precious TEF against him. He attacks, I pop a mando wine, crispic. *PERSONAL THING - I hit my macro for RP reasons 'Why have you come here %TT? You dare attack the Sith!? Now you will suffer!* Once I have it I root (force suppression) then AB (even if they have AB resist armor, cause if they dont its so fast), head hit, leg hit, body hit. Now he's scared, I've got him to about 1/2 health. I land KD then power hit. Now if he has AB resist armor, he usually isn't incapped, but he is VERY close. So just follow up with a head hit (or which ever you want). Now he's incapped. DB or whatever you want to do.
Out of the last 10 or so BH I had come for me 9 has lasted less then 2mins. One was a MBH/MP/CM4000 and he knew very well how to use his template. Plus both of us was lagging from mass PvP. We even sent each other tells during the fight laughing about the lag lol.

thats cool but...Dark Jedi Knights are not Sith. If u were personally trained by The Emperor, then you could be considered to be because he has the trained sith knowledge.

regarding the MBH/ MRM
I dont know for sure but if ideal range still has an effect on accuracy, your best bet is to be as close to them as possible. Don't let them go further than 5m away (hence the snare (is you got it) and /follow)

Certainly not! The skils I have listed work well against ANY bh or ranged profession in general. To be honest I've been killed only 2 times since I became a master defender once I was ganked late night, the other was AFK in a starport, lol had to pee.
I've never had a problem with any template because they can't kite me. This build is good for jedi too, you have staying power and offensive ability. Don't over look 3000 enhancer.
