Take a look at ths ad... it says published and developed by lucas arts not soe! looks like soe finally nerfed themselfs out of SWG.

If this is indeed correct SOE will no longer have control of SWG. Lucas Arts will have full control.



A few months back if you people all heard Lucas Arts hired some 200 Game Developers. I think SOE screwed up a bit too much and Lucas Arts is pulling the plug on SOE.



I think Lucas Arts will now have total control of SWG. SOE never and will never own anything even the game code for SWG. This is George Lucas game not SOE.



Star Wars is a George Lucas product. Even George Lucas was smart enough to keep everything Star Wars from 20th Century Fox. 20th Century Fox lost hundreds of millions.



Let's party down this game will probably not be bugged ever again or us nerfed.

It looks like a game to help you get used to SWG. It says it's for "1 PLAYER". I'm guessing it's a limited SWG on your local computer. Something you can play and test without commiting to a charactor (like skills are anything but comminging in SWG).

Too often players and the devs have a mindset that professions should be balanced with 1 on 1 pvp in mind. This mindset is ruining the game. The benchmark for balance should be determined by the role a profession plays in a group setting. As long as the current mindset continues we will never see uniqueness among the professions, nor will we ever see individuality within a given profession. We will never see the SWG universe expanded as the focus will only ever be balance pass after balance pass after balance pass.

so anyone get an answer or an insight of what the heck this thing is. I did a search and its all over the internet on upcoming pc game releases.

I think they are confusing the current SWG with the old one. The old SWG was a side-scroller .

I heard that a player asked Tiggs about this StarWars Galaxies started kit and she said that she had no information or knowledge about it. I find that very strange. Something is definitely not adding up here.

This really is scanderlous. Why would someone want to pay $20 to get an insight into a game they then have to pay another $20 for, then another $30 if they want to go to mustafar.


Rewind. how about LA just release a SWG 2online game?

Its been listed for a long time on Amazon and if it wasn't real id imagine someone from SOE would have asked them to remove it. Does look like Jedi are going to become a starting profession and all the other rumours are true come november the 22nd.
