Anyone see the "starter Kit" for SWG on Amazon and other sites? WTH is that about???

from the new description on there, it sounds like kotor2, its prob just a mistake, or maybe even a cruel joke by someone who plays swg and does the listings for amazon

It looks like a single player version of Galaxies from the description, which really doesn't make any sense. Sequel to what original game? This one?

the thing that gets me about it is that luke has a green saber and leia is in her slave girl outfit, this product has been confusing ppl for weeks now

Well, its pretty crazy.... Im really enjoying WoW, im having fun like i did pre CU, although i miss my Twi-Jedi. Im done unless the reinstate Knight Status...

well, it says "for one player" but on the box cover it says "join thousands online".. which makes since, cause that's what SWG is...single player...
but... I dunno.... this is beyond me.. but I don't see SONY or SOE anywhere on it, so that's a good thing
Also I noticed on the zoomed out view on the page, it has that box where it says a credit card or game card is required for recurring payments, or it says that you need the original software (like the expansion boxes sometimes say.. not sure don't have mine around) but that's not in the zoomed in picture
but... I dunno.... this is beyond me.. but I don't see SONY or SOE anywhere on it, so that's a good thing

Yes, you're right. Looking at the box up close, it's obviously meant for one player within the already existing MMO. The green saber and slave outift means nothing as Luke is in his outfit from Episode IV, so it's all messed up and I doubt that's what the box cover will even look like.
What disturbs me the most is that it's marked as "a sequel to the award winning role playing game", which is what we're playing right now. That and the "new force powers" etctroublesme even more.
