That's exactly the kind of thoughtless one-liner I've come to expect from some people on this forum.

I didn't say anything about quiting, but I admit, I am dissapointed.....to say the least.....for multiple reasons.

Nice try at an intelligent response though.

Better luck next time.

I think we were able to “tell” better stories, when we had player interdependency, and multiple, variable classes.

It is a joke, but they pander to the weak and whining, so maybe Jedi will have their upswing when we become like the novice brawlers with novice medic and we keep whining.

This is absolutely the nail on the head.

The only reason for the CU was to balance the Alpha class, against everything else, which is an impossibility, in and of itself.

Balance an Alpha class?

Am I the only one that sees the flaw in thier logic?

The state of the game today can be attributed to the countless little crybabies who couldn't unlock, or level Jedi in the old system.

It's too hard"! translation: Whhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaa!

Honestly, I've met post CU Jedi, who said, "I would have never made Jedi in that system".

You know what?

90% of the Jedi today WOULDN'T have made it.

I've killed Jedi marks, and then drove away, and sent them a tell telling them to be more careful.

Thier response....

?

That's right, they are so unaware of thier surroundings, they they think the Pikets from the lair they were spinning on killed them.

Good thing SOE likes money, becuase that's the only reason they decided to GIVE Jedi away to everyone, regardless of thier skill or ability.

Wanna know what else, there's less chance of Jedi becoming powerful again, than there is of finding that water in the desert.

I didn't cry...........until the crybabies won.

Now I am crying.

You see again you prove my point that this thread is only concerning the jedi's apprarent nerf or balancing and not the overall game post CU. You are still banging on about the jedi and how you worked sooooo hard for you jedi (well so did I). There are so many other things that the CU failed to bring us but still you bang on about 1 profession.

What about doctors nerfs, rangers (finally they got some joy), CH's, crafters (although you did briefly mention them originally), entertainers (mentioned them as well) and smugglers. This thread has progress no further than, "please read the post in its full", "you a child because you don't agree" or feeling sorry for yourselves because the jedi aren't what they were before.

Have to go atm but will be back with my thoughts on the CU and pros and cons later.

Isn't that the funny thing though? The pistoleers/carbineers and anything else in pre-cu that wasn't doing it were the people who were crying. CM's were great, Melee were great, Doc's were great, jedi were great, rifleman were great. Shoot, the game was great. It's the people who stuck with their profession or w/e and whined constantly to finally get their profession going. But instead of asking for their profession to be balanced in with the others, they wanted all of the others nerfed. Those same people are the ones coming in these jedi forums trying to herd us around because we feel we aren't balanced. First of all, this post wasn't about jedi being unbalanced with the rest of the game. It was stated by the original poster, and it is true. The point is, he said this because it was a fact that he used to back up his original thesis. He feels the game is even more borked right now than it was before and it is a whole lot less fun. I am a jedi and i know for a fact that if they opened a pre-cu server, i would jump on over there and almost forget my jedi. That's how fun the old system was for me. Sure it had it's flaws, but it was still fun! People like this - this ones who come in here saying "stop whining" and crap like that are the same people who wonder why half their server left and why there are a bunch of new players running around. If they aren't the new players themselves (hint hint). I have an answer for them. It's because a system that each of us learned and spent time playing for a year or so and kept giving the developers money every month was stripped from us. Everything we knew and spent time on was robbed. We were given a cheaper system that half the people playing don't even understand. The new armor system??? Why wasn't 50% kinetic 20% stun etc good enough? IT MADE LOGICAL SENSE. Now we see crap like 6200 energy? Whatever that means... Different weapons having different damage types was unique and fun. I was a TKM/Fencer and I would always test my vibro-knucklers and my stun baton on them seeing what kind of armor my enemy had. It made the game much more interesting. Now it's just plain and boring. PvP is so much more boring. Now it's just ... everyone stand 90 meters from each other and let the silly looking people with those robotic arms shoot at each other for a bit then a few other people carrying rifles shoot at each other and eventually charge. Sure that was interesting at the beginning, but then i just got to realizing that it happens the same way every time. I have found myself playing less and less now that i have templated my jedi and his alt, and my girlfriends character. It's actually sad seeing my interest in the game go. Before I was jedi, there was that one thing i dreamed of getting, even though i was perfectly fine with my melee template pre-cu, i still always wanted to play a jedi. Now with my gimped post-cu jedi who can't outheal CM's or doc's...Can't take the damage a melee stacker can, can't do the damage most other combat profession post-cu can, and can't buff myself better than doctor's even with master enhancer? Wow. Why am I even a jedi. I can forsee it now -- another beephole who either hasn't gotten jedi or is new to the game and hasn't been around a while will come along and say "Well quit" or some other smart remark. Oh well. I will go on remembering the better days that star wars galaxies once had. When i actually enjoyed playing my character and pvping. Now, the only thing i find fun in is doing stupid **edit** like riding around on my bolotaur like an idiot yelling charge to my guildmates and random crap like that. But that's fun for what? 10 seconds. Oh well. Maybe one day something will happen and be implemented where i can have fun again. Until that day, Cheers to those who miss PRe-CU as well.
