Thread: Visibility question
Hold your breath...It's a bug. Yes, yes its true. A bug slipped by the crackshot QA dept.
You see yourself wielding a lance or rifle while your buddies see you swinging a flashlight. Check the combat logs, they should say you did X amount with a rifle. I doubt this causes vis but seeing as how corpses of NPC's cause vis I wouldn't be surprised a bit. In fact at this point in time, nothing in this game surprises me.
thanks for the responces. I did check my log as soon as someone told me they saw a saber in my hands. it showed damage w/ my lance, so I'm sure it's just a crazy bug. they people who told me I was attacking, the blade on the saber wasn't on. must have looked funny to them. As a new paddy, I always try to stay off the terms. I know, I know.....bh's hunting jedi are part of the game. I'm not a cry baby and gonna moan and groan if I get killed. it's just a bh doing what a bh is meant to do. But, thanks to the new pub. I have a lot better oppertunity to keep myself off the terms if I just play it smart. that's why I don't ever leave my house w/ my saber in hand if I'm not going to meet my grind group. don't want that off chance I forget to go back On Leave and have a trooper attack me in Theed and the blade lights up.

Hmmm, nobody knows for sure (because we cant see if something causes vis) but the rule is: If it costs force you get vis.
And equiping/unequiping your saber (and maybe robe) will cause vis.
As I said: no proof for that though...
I think you should be fine.
If an NPC sees me use my lightsaber/force abilities but i kill the NPC do i still gain a certain % of visibility?

How about if you have force speed on and have no saber or robes on.....or force infusion non-battle but passive force powers....you do not start them in front of the npc however you finsihed battling and drive to the next mission with no saber or no robes but you have force infusion on or force speed and you walk by them?
Also if you are cloaked and walk by an NPC does that give you Visibility?
