Thread: Any word on the 2yr Vet rewards from Fan Fest yet>??
and before anyone starts complaining about 2 yr vets getting combat level increases!
all of us would not be uber I would still suck in pvp Im a twitch gamer and the new cu just forked me over even more lol.
Im CL 80 and I'm pretty sure there have been 60 that have beaten me.
Very cool idea. I have been vet for 1 yr now and something like that could be worth it. I believe we should not have to wait another full yr for another vet reward thou. But maybe a restart of different vet rewards after a the Yr in the same time. and if anything this should be the 2yr. Other things like the spiff are cool for maybe like a 540 day reward. Since the Resources kits are very poplular would be cool to get another one at like a 450 day reward. of course other ideas can be picked for these different rewards ( after yr ), but this is just what I think would be cool in the reward system in SWG.

The problem with a great many of the "wishes" people are posting is that they are unbalancing, as well as unrealistic.
A 7 use Blue Frog? Are you out of your mind? After only 2 years? Maybe a 25 year reward, but 2? Be realistic.
Veteran rewards are as much about recognition as anything else. For example, a good recognition reward would be a special vehicle skin that would change the graphics on a vehicle or increase the color palllette. A swoop with a flame job or running narglatch with the brilliant trim colors available also for the frame is something that will mark a veteran as unique.
A special armor skin would do much the same, along the lines of the ADK so that once the armor is destroyed, you get the "deed" back.
Would also work for a weapon...add a scope or bipod to a T-21, or perhaps porting or a special graphic effect when shot....
All of these add recoginition factor to the veteran character without affecting game balance. This is what we should be looking at when making suggestions, not "give me uber-loot that I can get if I apply myself but am too lazy/greedy to get".

Is this the 2 year vet reward system.....similiar to the last xmas gift where instead of being given an item you had to go out and claim the items? The xmas before you were given 1 of 3 pieces of art and a holocron and as you all know last years 1yr reward was 1 of 9 paintings. Looks like they are not goingto be giving items out anymore apart from that fantastic CU plaque..........

Compared to all of the other Veteran Rewards in the game, the ones you listed make me want to throw up, that list should be 3 month veteran rewards...
