I've seen some good ideas, I've seen somebad ones. In any case, for the most part, you people are right. As a two year veteran, joined a week after launch in US, its been one hell of a ride. And, unlike a whole lot of the veterans, I've never once changed my profession. I've added skills but since grinding out Bounty Hunter, (the old fashioned way, not some respec'ed droid engineer), I've never once let go of my Master box. I've seen countless players make Bounty Hunter then drop it after a week or a month. But, I've stuck with it. I don't hunt jedi because there is no use in it. All it does i make the jefi mad or make me frustrated.I remember when you had to walk from Nym's stronghold all the way down south through the acid rivers and putrid land to the Imperial base or around it just to get the 20k bounty hunter mission npc you had to kill only to get a lucky 338 investigation exp. Remember spending your time hunting for a Spynet operative longer than you hunted for your prey? The one reward I want above all others, not an ADK, not a new bike or ship, not a new house...I want them to make the greatest profession in the Star Wars saga up to par with what it was meant to be. Bounty Hunters are what make and break the system, we should be entitled to have a working profession. If you give us veterans anything for our two years of hardship, toil, and above all, payment, let it be the opportunity to finally take pride in the title some of us have slaved over and waited patiently on for the last twenty four months.

BRAVO!!! I couldnt agree with anything more, When I first started playing I wanted nothing more than to be a bounty hunter but lacked the patience to grind it out.... with respec came my dream only to be ruined by moaning jedi and hostile guilds whining cause you just killed on of there buddies who happens to be an imp just like you! The only proffesions I really enjoyed playing where TKA and Commando as they had no real role in the game...so had nobody to moan at you. I do promise though as soon as BH is fixed I shall be there again hurting the padiwans and trying to make a name for myself! lol

I'd probably end up taking two ADKs really, or anything with the greatest monetary value, I need 5 more ADKs to ADK a suit of armour
Wait ! I know:
A T-Shirt saying "I survived the Hologrind and the CU and all I got was this lousy T-Shirt".
No-one ? Really ?

the last night of FF I talked with JFreeman a bit about vet rewards. He flat out said that they will never do anything like ADKs again. He reguarded tham as one of the worst ideas they had ever implemented. He was really liking the undergrond house idea though. I could not get much more out of him other than 'god I wish folks would stop breaking into the .tre files'. LOL

I dont think that the 2yr reward should be something that people will be wanting to make money out of- all this will do is create a flood of sales on the forums just like ADKs. I dont want something to sell as my 2yr reward (wont be getting it for a while anyway) i want something that i will want to keep, something of sentimental (but still very usefull) value, something to be proud of. if its something along the lines of an ADK then ok ill still keep it, but something like that has no real use to a pure crafter or entertainer so they will be sold- to someone whose been playing for 6months and is not a true vet.
maybe the reward should be non-tradeable, making sure that there is a very useful and suitable reward for EVERY proffession, at least this way it will mean that only real 2yr vets will get there mits on it, making all those like me, who still have six months to go, veryjealous, to give them a reason to stay with SWG (not that i need one).

A second character slot would make me happy. At the moment, they are limited to people with money to burn on a second account or time on their hands to grind a Jedi. Many of us have neither, but would still like the oppertunity to experiance more than one aspect of the game at once. Of course, SOE will never give us that, because those with second accounts would just transfer their existing alt-account character over to the new second slot and they would lose revenue. Plus the Jedi would whine and complain as usual.

I don't think ADKs are either a bad idea or in anyway game breaking. Making them tradeable was. However on the other hand Mandalorian (and other immensely expensive/rare/hard to get items shouldn't decay. Also, The should make kits to bring back jet packs like the BARC speeder ones.

Rico you are nothing but a spoil sport. If you don't want to trade anything then DON'T! Don't try to force everyone else to play the way you want.

I think it's time for some restrooms... my characters have been "holding it" for a loooooooooong time.

the customizable clothing attachment was an interesting idea.
maybe a max of +50 points, you choose how to divy up the points.
it reminds me of the resource kit.

To quote from a previous post in anothr threadbe cool to have a Legendary status tag to ur name e.g. "Legendary Swordsman", "Heroic Soldier", "Famous Dancer" etc etc. But this would also give a bonus to your character be cool to have a "Legendary Bounty Hunter" with a CL of 100

I like the idea of more skill points (and a higher player level) It makes the veteren feel more like a veteren.
Unless you invite players into your house, how are they gonna know "Oh, look you have a mini Jabba. You're OLD man."
Isn't the point of the game to PLAY it? How 'bought something more pratical so players get out there and start playing again?
