yea if all it says is crystal, thats a force crystal. Hover your arrow over it in your inventory, i think it,ll say "melee weapon component".
Anyways, I'm not on your server so i cant appraise it for ya. Though i would be a bit reluctant going to meet a stranger with my jedi.
by the way what'd you loot it off of?

I'm sure that this has been answered before, however I have had no luck locating the answer to my question. How, in order from worst to best, are the Crystal and Pearl quality ratings measured? What I mean is where do they fit in relation to each other, which are the best, which are the worst, whats in between. If anyone would mind telling me, or at least pointing me to a previous post/site where this has been answered that would greatly be appreciated. Thanks in advance -

I am not sure but I heard they go fair poor good quality select premium and flawless.... might have missed a few... dont ask me what drops what... Iheard quality pearls drop from juvs premium crystals from djm and hmm quality+ crystals from the real big sisters

im still not sure on the crystal quality....someone told me that the higher number the better and that colored crystals sell for more credits,is thats true or do u have to get it checked by a jedi or something

Normal people can not see crystal quality, if I remember correctly. Only Jedi can.
Then, even if they do know the quality, it can still give bad stats during the tuning phase.
Only once tuned, can a Jedi see damage, speed and force cost. This of course ruins the crystal for sale, as only the Jedi that tuned it, can use it.
So, in other words, if someone sees the numbers, only the person that see that can use the crystal.

Crystals have "condition" and "quality". Condition is a number while Quality is a description (e.g. Poor, Good, Flawless etc.).
Condition determines how long the crystal can last when used (in the same manner as the condition of weapons and armour) and therefore the higher the number the better.
Quality is supposed to have a relation to the stats of the crystal (damage, attack speed, force cost etc.). However, only a Jedi can determine the crystal quality. Also, many Jedi have found a great deal of randomness in crystal stats and some low-quality crystals have actually ended up with better stats than high-quality crystals.

What determines whether a crystal is average, quality or premium? And is there anyway a non-Jedi can find this out? I have 2 >1200 condition crystals decorating my humble home...is that an indication of quality? Cheers
