Hehe I saw a 1190 going for 2 to 5 mil. Most people are selling950 and up for around 2 mil. Just examine it to see the quality rating.Most bring in good money. Sorry not sure about the quality and effectiveness during crafting.

there is no way to tell a crystals quality by its condition. they all come with random condition, but the quality is what you want. only way for a non-jedi to find out is to ask a jedi to ID it for them.

Aha, so then all my color crystals will not modify my saber stats at all, it will have whatever base value stats it is crafted with. Thanks for the info!

As far as I know all the color crystals do is alter the saber color. The condition means how long they will last before breaking like any weapon once it hits zero its dead.
The damage crystals are still a bit of a mistery to me but the quality of it does seem to change the total damage.
The better quality the crystal the higher the damage.
But the biggest modifier IMO is the quality of the saber. Always use the best quality resources and if you can use a crafting food to boost the chance of a higher sucess during the assembly and experementation phase.
The same approach to your LS crafting station helps too.
If I am wrong or any other more experienced person can shed more light on this then please do so.

Ok, tuned a crystal for the padawan trials,but still can't see any quality/stats on it. Is this ability gained when I reach padawan? I also understand that stats don't show until a crystal is tuned, but a crystal can only be used by the one who tunes it. If I tune a crystal and give it to another jedi, can they tune it for their use?

Only the White/clear Damage crystals have a quality.
The color ones have condition and exact color only when you examine them.

Yes, only Jedi can determine what quality a crystal or pearl has.

the color crystals only determine the color of sabre and type of elemental damage...banes heart and sunriders destiny have a higher elemental damage %
the clear crystals determine the amount of damage your sabre will do
of course the condition of crystals is self explanitory

Besides color and condition, what do you need to know about force crystals to evaluate their value? Do you need a jedi to determine if crystal is fair, good, premium, etc?
