Thread: Question about crystals

I saw a couple crystal-looking things on some guy's vendor. They were not named simply "Crystal", but rather (don't have the name on atm, so sorry for an inexact name) something like "Crystal packets". When I hover the mouse over the item, it says it is a melee weapon component. I figured it was worth it to buy it so I could check it out (besides, credits aren't that hard to get). After buying it, I use "examine" and its description says that it is a lightsaber component.
My question is, does anyone know what these things are? Are they used in making training sabers, or what? If I get a chance to turn the game on, I'll post the actual name of the crystal-thing. thanks

A "refined crystal pack"?
Its a componet for the Jedi training saber, basically worthless.

Completely worthless.
Oh, forgot to add that a Jedi can sample these resources manually very easily.

What is a goodnpcto kill to loot crystals? im perfectly willing to get out there and spend hours finding them, but id like to know what npcs seem to drop the most so i wont waste all my time lol.

i recantly looted a "crystal" no extra info was given. is this the same as a force crystal?
and if it is, im looking for a jedi who can tell me what its worth. (my character is on the farstar server)
(btw...I ENVY ALL OF YOU JEDI!!!:smileywink
