Thread: Voice your opinion on Weaponsmiths wanting ADK nerfed.

well not all WS want ADK's nerfed or bio linked


i DO NOT wish to see either happen first i AM a MWS adk's DO NOT under any circumstances effect my sales in a negative manner


and as another poster stated yes there are 5 good ws and a hundred bad ones on a server


if anything adk's boost my sales cause i make a weapon worthy of being adked people come to me looking for simular weapons


what needs to be done is caps removed, a balance to all loot schamatic weapons to make them master lvl and usable again


and introduction of ws contant and some new craftable weapons as far as kash weapons being better ive yet to see any


my crafted weapons far exceed any loot weapon ive seen


and the statments being made by a few ws that want them nerfed shouldnt worry anyone as devs couldnt care less about crafters


and will never do anything that they want to see happen


and as the 2 biggest professions thats use adk's are bh and jedi (which the devs love ) i dont see adk's ever being changed from what they are now

Im MWS and also have a combat character, ive made myself one of the best E11s avaible on my server and stuck an ADK on it. I dont want to lose that weapon under any circumstances other than getting my mits on a better one. Pre CU i had an ADK'd 469 Damage DE10, i loved it and i could hit for upto 8k.


However i only had the one ADK so i put it on my most 'Powerful' Expensive and cool looking weapon but i didnt always use it. I also had Un ADK'd Geo blasters, scatters,strikers and launcher pistols that were very high damage and of different damage types< this is whats missing!


Although my DE10 was more powerful it still wasnt my most useful weapon for all situations as it was only energy damage and i think everything bar 1 creature/npc had energy Resistance.


As of now we have two damage types Energy/Kinetic, making this game extreamly dull. Bring back more resistances, bring back more damage types, bring back more high level weapons and you will bring back what SWG needs.If all these were brought back then the ADK wouldnt be too bad as you would need more than one or two ADKs to never need a new weapon.

Items in this game decay faster than items in any other game I have played, and iv'e played a few. Also considering the rate of critical failures I get repairing, all I can say is thank heavens for ADKs.



So sad to see this go out the window. Guess it's back to WOW for me.

I doubt ADK's will be nerfed due to the fact that it is a vet reward. When they made vet rewards they intended them to be used and traded. If you nerf one that kinda contradicts the whole vet reward system. I wish people would stop bitching about adk's. They are a good investment and actualy help WS's sell their wears. I would never have spent the cash that i did on the hammer i bought if i knew it would be gone in a good weeks worth of killing npc's and people. For the fact that i know it's sticking around is another reason I will pay the price for the ADK + weapon. People need to learn to be the best, and not **edit** cuz their **edit**ty weapons arn't selling.

ive had 3 double capped rifles, and 2 double capped pistols sitting on my vendor for 3 weeks, what was that about **edit**ty weapons?

so...because you don't have 5 weapons selling...you think a reward that i got for paying for this game for a year should be nerfed....well when your weapons sit there for a year...then maybe you can complain about it. if you want...you can send me a money order for a year worth of subscription and i'll gladly give you my adk....because i'm sure if you adk'd one of those weapons they'd sell

ADKs were a mistake that would cause tremendous pain if removed but,I think it would be for the best. Everlasting loot is a bad idea.

They won't take away, they won't nerf. They should just remove all caps, and give real competition. Then as people make better weapons, people will buy desroy their old wep and ADK the new one. Shrug who knows. Don't **edit** that there is an item that saves someone the hastle of buying or even finding a new overpriced weapon every week. Resources do run out and those high end capped items are not easy to make, they will sell. Just ask yourself, are you overcharging as compared to other peoples similar weapons.

You get 1 adk in the lifetime of your account.


I thinks its a year (or close to it) To get your 1 and only adk


The prices on adk are insane on some servers


(tarq they are going 20 - 25 mil per kit)


So you buy and ADK or use the one you got as a reward to make your 1 armor piece with its ca or aa (which you looted or paid millions for) So it doesnt get destroyed.


Now lets take a look into it


weapons go for about 1 mil for cap uber stuff as we will call it.


So you play for a whole year (which in the year your weapons or armor got destroyed and you had to get more). or you payed for an adk that is basicly 20 times the price of your weapon.


i dont see **edit** they care about

Rumor has it that there is a new exploit to multi-powerup/slice weapons so, removing caps would be a horrendous idea at the moment. It's probably a good argument for keeping caps just where they are.

I am a 12 point weaponsmith and armorsmith, but i do NOT want to see anything done with adk's,people change templates all the time and have to get new weapons, besides anyone that is dedicated to crafting can make alot of money..weaponsmiths and armorsmiths have been the rihest professions since swg started. As for YOURS not selling what are your prices 5mil,10mil? so you make and sell the 5 weapons every week and get 25mil to 50 mil from 5 weapons.. most peeps can barely make 1 mil a week, not everyone can play 6 to 8 hours a day, they spend 10 hours a week takes a month to buy the best weapons armor they can afford..they would need 25 to 30 mil on bria right now to buy an adk, so he has 3 weapons 7 pieces of armor to buy 10 things to adk at 25 mil a piece...............


...........................GET OVER IT .... ADK'S are not that bad for the game

I am a ws and am happy with ADK's... I still make a nice business because they are still rareish items in the game. I think one problem is caused from people grabbing accounts from people who don't play any more (but are still subscribed) and claiming the vet rewards.


...but I've got some nice BH armour... +350 health mods.... high energy resists... and I want it all ADK'd. So I cannot complain about them too much
