I'll have to say, who cares. I know about the Nyax spawn, and know I won't get the loot rights, so who cares? Just because you can't get the loot rights doesn't mean that there isn't other ways to get attachments. Sure, killing Nightsisters in hopes of a nice attachment isn't a very good way since it can take you a long time to find anything decent, but hell, I can run Aa'kuan missions on Talus all day long and come out with 15-20 attachments a day. Those usually range from +3 to +6, like I'm going to waste my time trying to camp an overcamped spawn. Pfft, while your sitting at Nyax complaining about not being able to outdamage someone to get the loot, I'll be running missions bringing in 3-4 times as many attachments as you, if you have3 attachments that have +6 two handed speed on them for example, doesn't that pretty much equal one good attachment? Sure it costs a few extra open sockets on various pieces of armor/clothing, but damn guys, since the Publish, finding these things aren't really that hard.

Just let the campers loot away, already on my galaxies trade forums some of these attachments are not even getting close to what people think they are worth, because everyone knows they are dropping like mad. Prices will fall, and sooner or later everyone will be able to afford what they need, if you are that worried about Nyax, go get yourself a superior damage weapon and quit complaining. There are more places in this game then just the Nyax spawn.

As for the CSR banning thing, I have never seen this happen personally, though I have had no reason to ever report anyone for anything like this. Anyone who reports someone camping a POI or static spawn to a CSR, really needs to turn off the game for awhile and take a break.

heres a story. Guy walks in to nyax hideout, kills nyax, gets +16 weaponsmith experimentation tape worth billions. Is he gunna stroll outta there knowing nyax will spawn in another 15-20min? or is he gunna wanna make another easy billion? Its not like the janta cave or something like that.

Millons yes maybe eventen's ofmillons but NOTHING in the game is worth billions. This kind of camping is SOO easy to fix when you enter a poi it sets off a timer if you still there when it expires your kicked out and can't enter again for 24 hours at least. Problem solved. Sure he can come back the next day and do it again but at least it gives other people a chance. If all the guy wants to do is camp one spot, and no see or do anything else then thats his loss.

i was obviously exaggerating, and you totally missed the point. Everyone has a natural tendancy to compete and capitalize when easily able. would you leave a hundred dollar bill floating in the ocean with noone around?

Real life Camping = Good.

Game Camping = Bad!

Everyone seems to want to have fun...it just seems that there are those that will have it at the expense of others and it does not seem to bother them one bit. That's the sad part.

Dev's: Can we get the SEA mods that do not work replaced with mods that do? Also, while you're at it, make sure to update the loot table by deleting mods for SEA's that are no longer applicable. Thanks.

well I think theres a difference between going into a POI and staying there as a guild for 8+ hours and going there in a group for a solid buff session to get what you can get. As far as these tapes being worth a lot of money, I would have to say not anymore. These guys thinking that they can clean up by camping are about to get a rude awakening. Unless there are a lot of naive buyers on your galaxy.

It's a multiplayer game, loot has always been and should always be a king of the hill type thing. If it's "instanced " or on mobs that spawn everywhere then it wont be rare. And while it sucks to lose a kill it's a lot more fun to get loot if you have to wrest a spawn from the current king of the hill and send them packing.

Basically you win some and you lose some but you got to play hard to have a chance. Win or lose try and be a good sport about it. Sore winners / losers seem rampant in this game.

I took these tonight. These were taken about 1min apart from eachother. Just look and you'll see why camping has to be stopped. Given these are crap spawns why anyone would wanna camp these is beyond me but just look.

5 Players and 2 Pets on one spawn,

3 Players 1 Pet. Btw 1 of these guys is using a flamer and the other an LLC. The guy with the pet has a Scatter Pistol.

the swoops drop all the new pianting loot components (the ones from broken datapads)

the demons (rarely) drop adhesives

so I can absolutely see why they are being camped..

I hope SOE actually listens to this. Loot camping is wrong and a game spoiler for the vast majority of the players.

Brilliant!

I would love to see this implemented.
It's one thing if people want to camp and loot to build up thier own loot or to make credits, but the bigger issue is how this tactic ruins the PvE content that does exist in this game.

I love the different caves and forts... to go throgh once and have a little PvE fun with groupmates. (Unbuffed even)

I remember the days before any camping went on... when you could head to the Squill caves and it was just you and the group you put together.
Great scenery, great fun... the same was true for Fort Tusken.
That was one of the most immersive experiences I ever had... the first time we went to Fort Tusken.

The same holds true for every POI spot.
When I try and take some new players out to experience those places, it's always very disappointing to see what they are like today.

I don't know if your idea is one that has been kicked around a lot befoe, but I am all for it.

I'd prefer a more sinister method

Now and again Nyax's big brother Bob Nyax spawns he's got 350k ham and hits like a truck......

Attended characters naturally run away screaming...........

AFKers get mashed

Bob then, waves goodbyeNyax and wanders off into the sunset........

or....

when that timer you mentioned runs out, they dont get ejected

they become player bounties ...

oh yeah! I'd start BH training tomorrow
