The Japanese SE goggles, were created for Japan Special Edition named "Commander BOX". The Commander Box has 4 types ofreward bonuses for the purchasers.

1. The SWG art book which is same as US version. Of course, the book was translated in Japanese.


2. Two mini metal Figurines (the TIE defender and the Z-95 head hanter).


3. An in-game item, the vehicle (the flash speeder).

About in-game items:

If you have a Commander Box, the in-game items, #3 and #4, can be used in both US and JPN servers. *Also, If you have a Special Edition (original US version), the original goggles can be used in both US and JPN servers. So, you can see all type goggles in both servers. *There are JPN players who get both of Special Edition, and have both of goggles.

Since the Commander Box is the limited edition, the production has already been finished. Although a few may still beavailable in Japan, it may be difficult for you to get it.

Nori-san also pointed out that some US players have said that the JPN goggles are cooler than the US version. However, some JPN players have said that the US goggles are cooler than JPN version. This is very interesting.

the flash speeder was supposed to be only available for pre-purchase of the JTL expansion. if you can give that to the japanese, you can give the gogles to us. pretty straightforward. you already established that they work on our servers.

hand the schematics over to the tailors, ad no one gets hurt.

Come on Tiggs, hassle the devs for us, pllleeeeaaaaaaaaaaase?

On the other hand Tiggs flower you could do us a wee favour... Give Rhonda a call over at LucasArts, get her to send you a complimentary copy of TIE fighter (arguably the best Star Wars game ever made *um* non MMORPG obviously *cough* ); play it, fall deeply and madly in love with the Defender; then phone her back and get them to rerelease it using a DX 9 engine!!!!

Hello Tiggs,

in your answer I read US players won't get the Japanese googles.

We all know it is a bad decision. The best would have been to give both the US & the Japanese googles to all collectors editions owners.

The players knows the items are on all server and your attempt to say otherwise failed.

Now the fact is all players wants googles on their characters.

Once again instead of trying to make all players happy you nerfed both the Japaneses and the US.

I'm sad because it was really easy to give both items to all collectors...

I'd really be interested in picking up a couple Japanese SE versions, or even swapping US SE version keys for the Commander Box version keys or anything of the like. Heck, it's $1069 round trip to Tokyo from Vegas... hmm. Wonder if i have any vacation time coming up...

What why would they do something to help us, that would mean they have a soul?

Dev's, while you're at adding the Japenese goggles, can you make all goggles transferable - like the BARC's?
