They could at the VERY least, remove the must be grouped option, since the other person needs to confirm either way =( . The timers are horrible. Waiting is not what I call fun, sitting for 3 mins waiting for a simple change to happen is annoying. While the GUI on it is nice, the gameplay portion of this is horrible. I want the old system back .

Not a big fan of totally removing the group requirement, although I would support an ID-on-/consent model. Having ID windows randomly open while I'm walking along is not my idea of a fun surprise.

Most of the universe's problems can be solved by the application of a brick to the side of the right head.
The problem is if you don't have a big enough brick or can't find the right head. The devil is in the details.

Okay this new ID sucks. I was trying to get Master ID so that I could proceed to a new holocron. I'm stuck now at 2-2-2-2 because of the stupid timer. No one wants to wait around for it to finish and most cancel it saying "it's not doing anything". Now I simply want to grind this stupid profession away and move on to a "non-nerfed" profession. I gave up Master Carbineer because they screwed up Chargeshot1 & 2, so I guess I won't spend much time on this one either. Pretty soon this game won't even be fun to play anymore.

I certainly hope the timer issue changes. I'm a master BE by trade, and decided to try out ID for my "silent" holo because it looked fun and I liked the idea of all the new color possibilities for hair and such. I thought the grind was amazingly easy compared to the other professions I've done, and thought the new update might address that issue, but this is rediculous. If I want to continue in this profession, I have to hope that my friends are patient enough to stand around for hours at a time just to maybe get myself the first skill box. Every other profession out there has a way to grind it out with a macro or be being afk. This is the only one I know of that doesn't now. I feel sorry for anyone new that wants to make this their main source of income because no onewill sit and paya novice to work on them for the few skills they have, and the time involved to do it.On a possitive note, the other changes to the interface andcolors look amazing compared to whatI saw beforethe update. I just hope that something can be done with the time involvedto advance through this profession to get to the really good stuff.

I had just gotten my first box of ID in Novice Entertainer completed and was looking forward to the new mini-publish to see what was in store--much to my disappointment the thing I noticed first was the timer...this has to be the worst change next to all the CH nerfs I have seen. I am going to drop this now as the time required to gain experience points is worse than the unarmed IV box in Novice Brawler--at least there you are not bored to tears waiting and watching a timer count down before you can do anything...

It seems the general consensus about ID tents in major cities is that the idea sucks. People want to be able to do Image Designs in their own cities and homes due to various reasons, the main one being lagg. This reason I understand. I connect at 36.6 on dial up due to my location (old phone lines and no DSL). I am as much a hermit in Star Wars as I am in RL due to the awful lag that large cities impose. I had just started ID just before the 8.1 mini-publish and nowI am findingID a not so desirable trade for me even though it does sound like fun. So, heres an idea.. why not make the terminals a craftable piece of furniture so that people could place them in their own cities/homes and thereby ending this goofy handicap that keeps you geographically imprisoned.

Just a thought from a Kbps challenged individual who feels bandwidth discrimination is a terrible thing!

Who's brillant idea was it to totally change the XP gain?! Ok the timer is alright, but the exp should stack!! It takes over an HOUR just to get ID II. Does anyone else see the problem with this? I mean I thought they wanted people to try Image Designer, not make it hell to get to master.

With respect, most elite professions take at least an hour to get a second level box. I know this seems bad but ID's had the grind easy for so long it was ridiculous. You cant have it both ways, have a valued profession where people will seek you out and one that can be ground in 30 mins.

ID should be better when the novelty wears off and people drop it as people who are doing it seriously will be searched for and respected (ish).

ID2 is one of the Entertainer-level boxes—It takes about 2:46:40 to get any of the level 2 elite boxes.

I would like to see a ID Quest that would allow you to change a character from one Race to another.
