Okay, so... does an Image Designer and customer have to be in a tent to get all the new features (color palettes, new interface...), or is it just for stat migration, holo-emotes,and a timer bonus? (sorry, just a litte confused...)

The tent is for a timer bonus and stat migration. All else can happen outside the tent.

I was just curious if we needed to have resources for the holo emoting. I mean we are sticking something into the hair/under the skin. Didn't know if I had to have certain resources for each one like the crafters need to make certain stuff. Rare resources. Bad to find sometimes hence the rare.

OK, I'm confused on Stat Migration.

If I change my stats, will they still change on their own, but take a week or more to finish?

You said something like you need an ID to activate it. Does this mean I can change it all I want, but the levels will never move?

Yes. Unless they suddenly change directions by tomorrow, you can change your stats, but it won't do anything at all until activated by an image designer.

So if I'm a Master ID then my timer is cut in half? so if I go into a tent as a Master ID I have 1/4th the time or 0 time?

Or is the Master ID time splice not gonna make it in...

I've been holo-grinding. I generally grind a profession, and if it's interesting I'll play it for a while before moving on to the next one. Musician and Dancer I ground and released, because there are so many AFK entertainers already in the cantinas that there's really little point in being one. Carbineer was fun, though I didn't keep it long as the HAM costs are brutal.

I'm fully aware that with the proper mind buffs, you can grind ID in an hour. I expected the mini-publish to put an end to this, so ground ID a couple days ago. I'm glad I did, having come here to read about the timer. Once the timer's put in place, the ID grind is going to be brutal. 2 mins to change somebody's eye color? Who's going to sit through that? Players already hate the 5 or 10 minute shuttle wait times, and the 90 sec incaps are torture. 2 mins to get their eye color changed? Come on!

Okay, so it's halved to 1 min in an ID tent, and to 30 secs if you're MID in an ID tent. That's still pretty harsh, IMHO. If the intent was to curb the hour-long grind to MID, this was NOT the way to do it.

Question regarding stat migration:

I started the game as a twilek, not knowing anything about the HAM limitations of some races (ie mine). Since the second month, I've regretted being a twilek in that regard. My focus and willpower are maxed at 500, while other races can migrate up to 1000 or more. Any chance that this new publish will eliminate HAM limitations of certain races?

Nope. HAM limitations have not changed; only the way in which stats are migrated.

Boy the time limit is bad. I con understand the stat migration having a 10 minute requirement but if you can never get more than 300 exp for 2m30s its going to take forever for me to level. (Annoys me too that I just had bought a case of brandy which now has no use).

I like the new window but now I wish there was an option to minimize it or close it with out killing the ID change. If your grinidng it ends upjust get to stareat your partner for 4 hours doing nothing much else. And to make it worse youboth can't ID at the same time you have to take turns. Wish I could use the time to craft food for my chef proff or others could grind while doing it but instead I just end up reading a boook waiting for the timer to go away. Ahhh which brings up another thing it would be very very nice if there was an alarm or some sort of sound made once the timer runs out.

I do like alot of the new stuff though. Love the new colors. Love the tents (was hard to attract customers) and the stat change i knew would garner money but am surprised at how much emotes are being asked for. (lucky master ID are the only ones to get it though)

I am so disapointed... this update has crippled game play for me. Now I need to travel to overpacked cities to do my trade effectively. I choose my non combat proffesions because my computer cannot handle the cities and all the traffic. I like sitting in remote cities and handling customers there, and now ...

Thanks...
