..... Besides it obviously does no good to give constructive feedback to this dev team.

This is one large contributing factor to why many people skip the reasoning phase and move directly to ranting and flaming.
Do you track what skills are being learned each day or the time it takes players to advance from one skill to anoher, and if you do, have you seen a drop in the number of people leveling entertainer and image design since the patch? What is the trend like? I'm sure it skyrocketed in the days before the patch, but how many master entertainers or novice IDs are there a day this week vs. two months ago? Just from anicdotal evidence I'd think it would have dropped dramatically due to the time consuming and mindless nature of grinding through each box including even ent. id. If it did, are you ok with the current levels?
Great changes Runesabre!
I like that Stat Mitigation will actually be XP profitable to perform. I might force all of my customers to Stat Migrate at every sessions, since it will be yielding an XP/time ratio better than any other ID action. This is instead of my current policy of refusing Stat Migration because it slows down my progression.
The Master Timers is good as well, to give me something to look forward to.
And I can't wait to hear the new music.. I just hope it's 'Star Warsy' enough. Had a few people harrass me about Holoemotes, telling me they weren't Star Wars. Oh, well. That's what the /addignore list is for.
I always spend a while chatting with clients about what they want and why, as well as general chit-chat and a bit of playing around as we're going through and normally this means that the timer's run out before I ever want to click that Commit button.
Glad to hear we'll get a bit of music in the tents, I'm guessing the three tunes are one for each of the planets that has ID tents? I just hope the tunes are fairly long and varied, or I can see myself being driven out by the muzak, or being forced to work out how to play CDs on the PC while I play SWG!
On another note is anyone else seeing persistent problems with the ID interface where it keeps showing clothes that customers were wearing 5 minutes or more before the session started, this can be a real problem when someone has their helmet stuck on and you have to keep commiting the changes to them just to show them how a new hair colour looks.

Not a fix, but some suggestions for non-MID:
- Have your novice or highest ID title up all the time.
- If there is an MID in the tent, ask them politely to refer some customers to you that you'd be able to help. I've been doing this on Radiant since the publish went live. (Usually in Coronet.)
- Greet customers as they enter the tent, and if they're confused answer their questions. Make sure they understand that you can do many of the things an MID can do.
To the devs, at least give us some indication that you'll be making it easier for non-MIDs. Some proposals perhaps?
Until this is resolved, I think we should try to set up a system where MIDs make sure there are no non-MIDs around that could help the customer first. Obviously this is all voluntary, but if you're like me you're often flooded with requests and having someone to take some of the load might be beneficial.

It would be nice if MIDs would do this but why would a customer want to a non-MID if they can go to a MID and not have towaitfor a timer. I know if I was a customer who wanted a stat change I would not want to get it done by a non-MID.

Great, you'vemade it so that unless you're already amaster Image Designer, you won't be able to effectly gain xp due to the fact masters will be most desirable now with the lack of timers. Congrats to Kwee and the developers for creating this 'good old boys' club and ignoring the rest of the image designers beneath them.
I have talked to Kwee about this. They didn't listen to her about the timers. She pretty much told us "If we get any timer reduction at all it will be for Masters only."
Yikes I think you've taken what I told you out of context. IPM'd you thefollowing: "I do know for a fact they really are still considering changes, though I know no specifics
And it would not happen overnight. I'll keep poking."
Your paraphrase of what I have said about timers is not accurate either. Master timers are the only timerchanges I have heard of to date, and they have now been announced byRunesabre twice. It should be more like "We are getting Master timer reductions and I don't know if we will be getting any others,I've been told options are still being evaluated".

An important distinction! If you need any needles, meat tenderizers, cattle prods, portable grills to light fires under people, or armored battalions to help you get your message through,I'd be happy to help.
More than happy, precious.*gollum* Filthy Devs, they stoles it from us!! Wring their necks, and then we takes it from them, and we be the master!
