You do realize, don't you, that by giving away your services, you lessen the value of Image Design for EVERY other ID on your server? Please don't work for free. I'm thrilled that you love it... and it's not about the money for me either. But out of courtesy to the other ID's on my server (other ID's everywhere actually) I charge for my services.
The 10 credits was a slap in the face. They were saying "I'm not stiffing you, I'm telling you that you're a lousy ID."

Would mean that the other image designers can then see who on their servers rip off image designers and refuse to do any owrk for them or we can always beat them up till they hand over money to the original designer
Here's a story about a funny encounter.
About a month ago, I visited Theed's cantina like I usually do every few months to visit with old friends from Theed (I was born there, left and moved to Talus. Too many shuttles to go to Naboo constantly)...anyways I noticed an ID and I needed a change for my tatoo...so I asked for a quick ID session...
I get a "Not unless you can beat me." I was thinking "Woah. Do I fight her or let her be." So, after much persistance, I finally dueled the IDer. It was a close duel, but I ended up wining. Now, believe me, I felt REALLY bad about fighting her. Here she is, this Master Dancer/Master Image Designer fighting a Master Swordsman. So, I offered to heal her. Nope...she wanted to go again.
We dueled twice more, me winning everytime, and her ending up dead. So, now my IDer is dead at my hands. What do I get? Jeers at me from the cantina patrons thinking I beat up an overt entertainer. So I get a doctor to ressurect her and after much mumbling and grumbling, I get my tattoo changed.
Talk about a hassle...

That is quite frankly the most bizarre thing I've ever heard of... did she have ANY combat skills? I think, at that point, you're better off finding an ID who doesn't feel it necessary to waste the client's time.
BTW, I had a request to travel to do ID work today right before my wedding. I was like "Uhm.... no." LOL
10 credits is the lowest I've ever had too... the annoying part is I've been getting this more and more ever since I started charging "whatever you think is fair"... I think I should set prices from now on.
