I decided to charge 10k. 1k per minute. I also throw in 1 ID change and 1 holoemote for free since we are sitting there for so long. It's not that much if you figure what you can make on missions in that time. Noone has complained and most of my customers have thrown in a little more, one paid double.

Ill take the wait and see approtch to this. Luckely i saw what they (devs) had in mind and migated my stats over the last week or so to set it 'just right'.

If when i need a migation in the future (changing proffesion) im sure as hell not gonna pay more then 20K just because ' the ID's need some love' as many have put it.

I still think its a VERY bad ida to 'nerf' 31 proffesions to make 1 proffesion better or more needed.

Some ID's might be out for money only, but I ask them to charge what is fair..sometimes I Get 25k, sometimes I get 10k.... I would be happy with even 5k...I just want to make other players feel satisfied and happy. : )

Prolly gona gett me arse hauled to the stake for this... But i charged 8k for stat migrate... Mostly 'cause i my self hate to hark up a minor fortune for something... I see no point i reaping somone blue and black... prolly never gona charge anyone 75k for a stat... Never... Would not feel right no matter how mucth ppl are good for. Oki now this might not be mucth comming from the new kid on the block... But that is how i see things... So bring out the tar and feathers if you like. =P Anyhow... I'l be heading back to the viod now.. have fun.

I haven't done a lot of stat migration because I didn't spend a lot of time near the tents (too much competition). Instead I hit the shuttle ports to peddle my wares.I did hike up prices on holoemotes because people thought they were cool. I started out charging 5k for a single and 30k for all and then moved up slowly to the end of the night when I was charging 8k for a single and 35k for all. There's difference between these though because some people truly need to have their stats migrated, but holoemotes are just a luxury that some can afford. Thus I don't think I'll charge more than 13k or so for a migration.

I only got on for about two hours or so today. I did two stat migrations. The price for my stat migration is the same as everything else - a tip. And I gave free holoemotes to everyone who wanted blue hair or something else done as a parting gift. If they like the holoemotes they'll be back for more. If not, they don't feel gypped, it's okay by me.

OsrykGebi - You need to shop around more. This is the best time to find a Master ID who won't price gouge you (they're about all at the tents anyway), and who you'll be able to come back to in the future.

Image Designers - I made 100k in my brief time online today, working on tips alone. The cash will come in steadily. You don't need to make it all at once. Until (*crosses fingers*) they adjust the stat migration time, go be sociable with your client, go get a drink, go make a sandwich, whatever. The more you stare at the timer, the longer it will be.

I think 75k is a sickening price for stat migration. Personally i don't have set prices. I just tell people I work on tips. Rarely doI get stiffed, and I find people are more apt to giving me 20k for a hair style change for not being greedy. Though stat migration will take 10 minutes of my time and the other persons time I may charge 5k. I think thisis a fair price for it. 75k.. ppfftt If anyones going to honnestly charge that much you should be ashamed.

I think the problem here is that stat migration is now the most valuable'service' in the game now. If the all the image designers got together and charged 200k for a stat migration, what could you do about it?

Re-roll if you don't mind losing badges ...out of the question for thoseyou working onyour 28th profession to get a Jedi or even those already with a Jedi. Anyone else it's still a pain in the butt if you have any amount of "stuff."

...or you can spend 4 hours a day for over 2 weeks in an ID tent (or twice that anywhere else I understand) and make your own Master Image Designer. Makes 200k sound like a bargain to me. Thank goodness I don't need a stat migration.

No different of a gouge than the artisans that made bikes when they came out, or the CH's that sold mounts, or the Weapon Smiths that make new weapons or any other profession that has taken alittle advantage. Things will cool soon, let them have their day and enjoy it!

So far I have only done one Stat migration and man I didn't realize how boring that was going to be. But I only charged 5k for it. I will accept more if someone is willing, but in my opinion it used to be an option available to all why should I charge out the wazoo for it. I only charge for my time. I know at the rates I'm charging I'll never be rich, with giving all my money to my roommate for her crafting careers to take off. Oh well I'm having fun with making people over thats what counts.

I stat migrate for 20k-25k and do it for free for people who can't afford it
