RollBack!! Wow!

yay! at least they found the problem... only took what... 6 hours? although being a programmer i can understand how it might take that amount of time =)
wow, in the time it took me to log in his post was gone, cool
I can always paste it back in again. I'm used to their practices here so I make copies of everything I post. Normally my posts only get removed when they have truth in them.

hey Lim, it's Dora, I wanted this publish, so stop being an **edit**

And I will not stop being an **edit** either. I don't get all the time in the world to play and today was going to be a good day. But Ahazi is screwed because of a publish (ready?) pushed back a day so they could make sure it worked. And yet it didn't work, did it? Sorry Dora but I feel migrating base times, bugs in game since beta2, and the like should be a priority in this game. And yet all those problems have remained for almost a year now. And instead of fixing old code they keep adding new code and breaking everything because the core of the game is still not stable. I think those things should come long before new dungeons, new weapons and especially "soapbubble" headstyles.
You hit the nail on the head there. Also it doesn't help to role out a patch when most of you're devs are offsite (at E3 pickin their noses).

WOW! That's harsh! Do you really think that the devs are really that bad? Have you ever had any server based problems in the work place? Perhaps you should mention this to your network guys and see what they have to say. Many high end companies have simular issues. The test server environment is much smaller then the player servers, so not all problems can be caught. Not to mention that there is millions of lines of code to go through and there are only so many Devs. I highly doubt that Sony would have mediocre people running their systems

I thought that the Test Centre was for testing... also know that they experienced difficulties with the update there (cause of the 1-day delay)
Then why introduce it to the servers if they aren't sure that it works fine?
Seems that they took a gamble and lost BIG time!
I assume that the update wasn't ready at all but they had to meet a 'deadline' or something...
too bad that it costs me a day of subscription-money...
have not moaned at anything else implemented since the start of the game, but a whole days downtime, to take away our ability to migrate our own stats has really got to me, i cannot believe they have taken away this ability from all players - jus to improve the ID economy - just not liking that decision.
