It wasn't so much the words used, than the spelling. That was what made me pysically sick. I mean UR, it just sounds like he can't make his mind up.

Oh I agree. The use of the word Ur is only permissible when you are referring to that ancient city in the Middle East.

You guys taught me to treat ID's nicely
I went to one earlier, wanted a new look and a stat change, and she said she could only do the stat change (and I wasn't happy cuase I didn't want to just use her for the stat change), but it turned out she could do everything I wanted. She said she worked free of charge, but I tipped her 20K, then 20K again, but I still never heard from her and had to ask her if she got it =\
My friend needed a stat change, I got one arranged, and told him to let her play again with his looks while she was waiting (he doesn't really care). Her fee was 10K and I told him to tip (he's new) so he added 2K on. I asked her if she was wealthy, which she was, so anything I could have tipped her wasn't going to be much.

Someone in Coronet asks me for a holoemote. How much, he asks. I state my price. He agrees and I give him the sparky holoemote. His next question however: and how much for a date? Please...

I once /hugged an Image designer for migrating my stats, is that ok?
I'm on Starsider, a US server. And as a Dutchman, and finding IDs on at my playing times is a bit more difficult, so I was really happy I found one.

My latest evil Customer experience:
I had in my profile all of my ID prices, and for stats migration I had given a rough range of prices (9k-12k), depending on whether business is so slow and I"m extremely bored, or whether its completely packed and every minute is worth a lot and it even had an explaination of something like that. Most of the time its a straight 10k.
Being a Tailor too, I was restocking my vendors when a guildie convinced me to go to a tent to give them a stats migration, despite me having a lot of stuff left to do. Since I wasn't planning on being able to stay long in that visit, I didn't put my ID title up. Well, there was another guy in there who was pathetically sighing every 30 seconds, making sure everyonenoticed, because he wasn't getting a stats migration fast enough from any of the IDs in the tent. Even though I found it annoying that he was purposely trying to make the IDs feel bad for him, I fell for it, and give him a stats migration even though I was in a rush, but the guy was completely rude to me.
Me: Ok, It'll be 12k.
[Since I was in such a rush and thought I was doing him a favor in saving him time]
Him: What??? But your profile says you charge as low as 9k, why am I not getting that?
Me: I'm sorry, but I just wanted to help you out despite the fact I'm in a big rush with orders to finish. I saw that you were feeling kinda.."disappointed or upset". This way you wont have to wait in line anymore.
Him: You people take too long. And you should really not put 9k in your profile if you are just going to charge 12k
I think he was venting out his frustration of not being helped as fast as he wanted, because he happened to have come to the tent at a really busy time and had to wait in a line. He wanted the stats migration but spent the entire 10 minutes arguing with me over 3k, and here I thought I was doing him a favor. The other IDs there had pretty long lines at the time and I told him the price before I even started so he'd be upfront with it. I was so frustrated by the end of it, I took out all the prices from the profile.
Evil thoughts go through your head when you have afrustrating customer lol. Theguy was wearing a Sunguard...It's a GOOD thing I'm such a nice person. He was so rude I was SO tempted to give him a hot pink mullet and he would haveNEVER known until he took his hat off while he was off doing whatever he does with his buddies lol. But I could never do a thing like that without feeling unethical. I just think about it and laugh. Hehe.

the funniest is when they rant and complain leave, then other customers tip you higher... and in 40 mins he returns dejected and has to pay anyways and had to wait 4 times as long int he first place!
It's happened lots. I have had people on Ahazi say I'm the first ID they've seenin 3 months... I tell him did you look in Theed and coronet's tents?
answer yeah but they all were silent and ignored me.
Then I broke the news to him you need to go to the tent.. and he said I'll follow up .. (we both needed the ride outta the starport)
The thing is I always have the tag up where ever I go unless I'm afk. best way to get people to notice you is run around in a pretty dress in a starport where everyone is in composite armor.gauranteed you get one person to ask you about ID.. when in doubt draw attention to yourself and start a Faction war with holoemotes.. then they know to come to you for recharges

I find myself laughing at the ones who wish to duel thenon-combat image designer ..
I had one guy who had visited me several times, flirting, generally being a good guy.
Until one day when I had a small line of stat migrations and whatnots and he wanted to cut in. I don't do that kind of favours for anyone, so I told him no. He became repetitative and quite annoying all of a sudden. And sure thing, he wanted to duel me. I checked his bio, clothes and title. Hmm, novice brawler, vibro knuckler and nothing for show in the bio. Well, me grinning at this point, being a master pistoleer on the side.
I told him, well, sure thing. I just have to finish this customer. The other master image designer in the tent adviced him not to duel me as he would get his hiney bashed quite badly. He kept taunting me in spatial but I waited the session out and said, ok, let's do it. Popped some brandy, equipped pistol and whatever armour I could and accepted his duel. I knocked him down and incapped him.
Then I unequipped the armour and went inside, telling him that he really should look into people bios before duelling someone in the future. I think the matter is closed but the MID keeps laughing at this poor guy and when he finally is back on his feet, he starts cursing at the MID. Tsk tsk. I tell him to back off or I will be bad to him again. Andbefore you can say curling iron, down he goes (I never ended the duel).
The MID goes inside and as I look at poor guy get back up, he suddenly attacks me. I hadn't unequipped the pistol and uatoattacks takes care of all for me. And strike three, you're cloned. Oops, didn't mean to do that.

The MID and I laughed really hard on that one and strangely enough, I have never seen him again /griin. I must admit, I loved it as I am sure, he went for the "ewasy" target

I wish we had a body paint gun for times like that. Some weapon that messes up someone's look. like a Randomizer body reimage gun.

I had another pet peeve last night... I was in the ID tent and had something come up that needed my immediate attention, and was taking all of my focus. So I took down my title and put in my bio "I am currently NOT working, sorry for any inconvenience." Just a few seconds later someone walks in and we have this conversation:
them: hey, are you there? i need a hair color change
me: *after a pause of about three minutes because I'm so distracted* I'm sorry, I'm not working at the moment, I've had something come up that is taking all of my concentration
them: uhm.... it's just a hair color change... but, ok, whatever...
me: Again, I apologize.
them: what about when you're done with whatever you're doing? I'm not doing anything right now. I'll just wait.
me: ...I don't know when I'm going to be done. I'm sorry, you should probably find someone else.
Them: oh, it's ok, i'm not doing anything anyway. *sits on the couch*
me: Well, I am. *leaves the tent*
*sigh* I've been totally accessible the last few days as an ID, but when I'm not working, I'm not working. Period.

Oh I have no problems with walking out on desperate people "Oh but you are the only ID around, and I've looked for hours and I really need a makeover" when I'm busy or just not feeling interested. Tough luck on them. Or I ask them to meet me later. "I'm busy now, but in an hour or so, I'll be in the Bestine salon on Tatooine. Meet me there if you're still interested by then." Let them travel for once.
