That is the point. Yes, you will due poorly against sertian opponents. No, you will no longer be an Omega Killing macine. Yes, you will have to group with people of differnt armor types and differnt weapon types in order to do good in PvP and PvE. Also not all weapons are dynamicaly switchable, this leads me to belive that each proffesion will specilise in specific mode. And with each profession spcilizing in differint modes, they probly also specify in specific armor to.





Now the only enigma is whether any of it is LS resistant and what kind of damage types LS do since its the only aspect not covered

I bet you that those weapons that are Switchable, are not as powerfull as the ones that are not. Kinda like, "yeah you could have a switchable Laser Rifle, OOORRR you could have a set damage T21" The Set damage one has a higher DPS but is not switchable and the Laser rifle has a lower DPS but is better against more people.

You guys did a great job on the Imperial armors!


On the Rebel armors... not so much. You seem to be hung up on "armor must LOOK like armor... all heavy plates, etc." I'd have much rather seen movie-style Rebel uniforms used as the art for these new sets. That would improve the overall Star Wars feel of the game. These Rebel armors you're adding just don't do that, sorry.... no matter how many Rebel logos you paste onto them. Please rethink the Rebel designs & give us what was seen on-screen. Thanks!

I noticed something in the picture of the Imperial Assault Armor. The cutout on the very left had a belt on the toon, but the rest of the pictures did not have the belt. Are the components of each of the armors still being worked out?

We are arguing the same sides (constructively of course), though you are better at putting them down.


I'm sure these things have been thought of I'm just posing them here to hear the answers.


What I DO like is that the Armors have hindrences that are lightened by certain professions. So swaping armors to counter a certain moded weapon could make it worse for you depending on what the hindrences in fact are.


What I can see for modes are each profession having a specilty mode and being able to apply them to a weapon that has a default mode of X. I'm so excited to see all these questions answered and see it all in aciton.

Great stuff. although two of them aren't really new, just Rebel marine armor and Stormtrooper armor renamed, they still look good.


How about giving rebels the rebel ensign helmet as faction armor though(that helmet the rebel ensigns on the imperial corvett missions wear)? Thats the first rebel equipment you see in the movies after all, and it'd be really nice to get that. and to make it fair, make a similar version thats black for imps (kinda like what some imperial troopers on the Death Star wore in A New Hope.)

Looks promising so far.


But im disturbed that the Rebel armor has NO reference in cannon at all. The only armor suits you have that have any reference to the movies it eh Scout trooper and Storm Trooper armor.


You have basically created4 whole suits of armor that has NO relevance to the Movies or even the books.


The very fact that your breaking from the Movies this far is extremely disturbing. This game is becomming to lookless and less like Star Wars.

Don't want to be negative, but the rebel armor is not good at all. I have to admit I like the Imperial shock trooper armor. What happened to the Endor rebel oufit, or the rebel outfit from the corvette Vader took over in Ep 4, what about Hoth rebel armor? Samurai's in SWG what is this? All the rebel armor looks like mortal kombat characters.
