Thread: Mabari armor belts

I don't know about other Jedi out there but I would have thought twice the minute I took an ARMOR ATTACHMENT worth MILLIONS and stuck it on my Jedi.
You had to have thought (even for a minute) that they would eventually fix that, right? Right?
Perhaps you could explain how come they are able to 'fix' what was ultimately a harmless confusion between armour and clothing and yet not 'fox' pearl drops?

So this is the final word on this? I am sure we all agree that this is just BS. They go through and change the bandos and shirts to be clothing. Why not change this too?
You shouldn't be so sure then, because not all of us agree. Sure, I had a nice AA in my belt for my jedi, but I *chose* to take that risk. Nobody's fault but my own.
Suck it up, kid. There are consequences to your decisions, even the bad ones.

Oh for god's sake. Why does everyone on this board talk as if they were a USMC Gunnery Sergeant and not as they are, pizza-stuffed, fifteen year old sock molesters.
Please are angry about this change because it was unncessary and expensive. If SOE really gave a damn about armour wearing by non-armour wearing players, they'd nerf Clone armour for wookies.

You guys seem to want to push this to be considered armor--that's fine. Now lets address the fact of this now being armor. What type of armor is it? I find itunbalancing that there is a piece of armor in the game that you don't have to have a cert to wear. How do you guys feel about that?
It's not us pushing lol
It's the devs just some of us agree that something that us made by an AS, Holds ARMOR attachments and is an Armorweave belt is in fact armor.
Certification is another issue/bug
Jedi and TKA were never intended to use AA's.
This is not a nerf, it's a common sense fix. It would have been nice if they fixed it in the same manner they did ubese shirts...but they did not

I agree with the situation 100%. It was a bug...It's part of an armor set, hence it is ARMOR.
If you want to whine to SOE to fix bugs/exploits, and turn around and whine about this....well, you are an idiot.

Doesnt matter to me I use psg's instead I'd rather take less damage.
Yeah but some people choose not to goMLS because they could make up the mods in SEA's. It was a pretty good trade off, hit as fast as a MLS and take more damage from ranged weapons. Obviously devs thought the belt was unbalanced for Jedi, now how it unbalanced anything is beyond me but oh well.

I dont think they thought the belt was imbalanced since you can yse a clothing one with CA's. The real issue is jedi and TKA are not supposed to be using AA's since they belong in armor. More of a techicality. If there was a balance issue asssociated with it, then iit would probably be that it does not decay
LOL! Oh man. I was sipping a drink as I read that part. After two minutes, a couple of paper towels, and some Windex, I was able to reply. Good thing my monitor and keyboard still work.
