Ok guys. To those having trouble with the SBD's in the engine room. This is a little info that might help you in soloing it. get a mind/focus/will buff, use 2 brandies and a synthsteak. I only have 3-0-4-0 in medic so it doesnt take alot of extra skills to use stim-d's. I beleive all you really need is pharm 4 to use them, although you might want some of the other med skills so you will heal faster. As I run through the vette i just use a healself macro (not a looping one) to keep myself alive while completeing objectives. The Sbd's will chase and attack you but this method can keep you alive. Also a well known secret
heh......is that smugglers feign death can be a best freind up there. When it starts to look hairy then play dead. Wait till your healed up a little then stand up and run until ya have to feign again.

Just a little tidbit that I discovered that I haven't seen mentiond yet. If you are factioned you can do the Neutral missions also. I found the CorSec troopers much easier than the Storm Troopersfrom the Rebel mission. I went up with myself and one other and we could pretty much kill everything on the first floor on our own except the SBDs.We started running out of time so we had to run through the rest of it and didn't really try the Mobs on the other levels. Also there didn't seem to be as many SBDs, that may be just a bad observation on my part though. It's also nice to do the Neutral missions if you like collecting different badges.

Was getting that nothing happens problem whenI tried it - it was obviously coz we were doing the wrong mission. Will be up there again next week.

Did the neutral assassination mission yesterday... Something must have gone wrong because the code I got didn't work on the keypad and the general was nowhere to be seen.

sigh, just say the info!
I don't know what trick the above poster means, but it is mentioned earlier that if you have enough aggro from the first levels then no more mobs will aggro you later on. I have found this to be true and I was able to complete the corvette solo 3 times yesterday.
I was fully buffed, full armour, 2 brandy, synthsteak. And plenty of heals
If you do the destroy mission and can get to the elevator and then the armoire room while aggroing everything in sight but staying alive, then when you go down to the Engine room etc nothing else aggroes you. I had 8 SBDs in Engine room, 4 in defunct droid/armoire room, and I just completed the mission each time with no further aggro. I have been walking past SBDs, I have no idea if this helps, but I do it anyway. If nothing else it's respectful
I followed this guide: http://www-scf.usc.edu/~madhav/vette/
Hope that helps

Oh, and also, just in case you were wondering, as I did, it does NOT help to have a positive Corsec faction on the neutral missions. I spent hours yesterday getting my faction to +5000 Corsec, but still got aggroed. Ahh well, Idid getto kill Lord Nyax in the process. Shame he was only carrying grenades
