Ok for those of you who don't have factories that work great like others, all you have to do is redeed it(no cost!!)then place it again and bam the factory works again. Just make sure everything is out and you haven't put a new schematic in it.

Your vendor dumps all your items and you get a lot of email spam. A good way to delete them all in one fell swoop is:

  • Deleting Multiple Emails

  • Pick the first email message you want to delete

  • Hold Shift Down

  • Click the last email you want to delete.

  • All the emails should be highlighted between these two.

  • Hit the delete button and they all disappear.

The /healDamagecommand (and probably all other healing commands) can take your own name as parameter. So you can set up a macro to heal yourself, regardless of target, combat status and what not.

You can also use /heald self, I believe.

MOBS (creatures) are different, and not seemingly consistent with their agro radius.
Your tip is very helpful, but a bit of nomenclature:

"Mob" is a contraction of mobile object. So anything that moves, other than PCs, is a mob, be it womp rat, Zabrak, AT-ST, droid, what-have-you. If it moves, and it's run by AI rather than a player, it's a mob.

I think what you mean to say is 'sentient', which is the Star Wars-y way to refer to any organic (i.e., not a droid) being which can talk.

Have a mission where you have to talk to someone who is aggro, or surrounded by aggros? Use the /conversationStart command. Just select the NPC you need to talk to and type "/conversationStart" (without the quotes). It allows you to converse with an NPC from any range.

Macro Button Tip #1:

You can make a muti-tasking Macro button very easly, for example:

Say you have a -StormTrooper Commando

-Grand Sludge Panther

Now it seems to you that it takes along time to click attack for your trooper, pet and yourself and whish there was a way to cut down then time needed for you so u can consintrate on the battle. There is, all you need to do is create a new macro button and enter in the commands. Example:

/say Attack!! (This is for your Commando or whatever else may have trained him to respond too)

/say Spike Attack! (For your pet)

/attack (For you)

Now when u enter the first command, just hit enter and it will bring u down to the next line then u can enter then second, and so forth. This will allow u to cut 3 buttons or un needed typing down to 1 button.

Very Handy and time effeciant.

Tabbing Tips:
  • Tabbing cycles through all targets from closest to farthest, but does so based off the last thing targeted. If you want to target the closest enemy, do Control-1 to select yourself, then hit tab.
  • If you have an itchy tab finger and miss your target, know that you can reverse the cycle order and go back to it by doing Shift-Tab

    Melee Tips:
  • Kiting NPCs can be a big pain to deal with. Don't you wish they would just run up to you and lay on their back for you? Try taking a couple of steps to the right or left and stand behind a tree or rock. The tree will break line of site and the enemy will decide to come get you. When they run around the corner, smack them with a dizzy and lunge.
  • Sometimes trees, rocks, walls, even buildings are flakey at stopping blaster fire. Its client/server synchronization problems. For best results with standing behind small cover, make sure you get right in the middle of the object in order to reduce the amount of error on the server. Give it a few moments and you'll be covered.
  • Choose where and what you fight wisely. Make sure you have ample cover near where you want to fight at.
  • If you have to fight in the open, lay down a tent before you initiate. You can use the tent as cover to break line of sight until tent poofs.
  • Don't ever let pride get you killed. There is nothing wrong with cowering behind a tree; that tree is keeping you alive.
