/move back 1-5 is a command that i recently needed that might come in handy. If items in your house get stuck on top of each other and the system will not let you pick them up. Use this command until the item moves enough to pick it up. I havent tried forward but i would assume it would work as well.
ex. /move back 5 this will move the item 5 spots back
ex. /move back 2 this will move the item 2 spots back
Hope this helps

/find med
is a lot easier than
/find medical center
take missions on the way to destinations...
Going to your house that is east of a city and your house is 2000m away?
Grab 2 explorer RECON missions under 2000 meters to the east, they are usually 500 creds, big deal right?
You just got paid 1000 credits to run to your house from the city and didn't have to kill a thing.
Tip Doctor/Medics more then Entertainers. Don't tip AFK entertainers. Use that money to tip yer local Medic/Doctor. Their stuff costs money to make. (Not too much, but they got harv fees too!)
Do tip Dancers/Musicians. Anyone who's gotten -that- far, deserves it. Specially if you got huge wounds.
The more wounds you have, tip more.
If you only have 10, don't tip 1k.
If you have 100-500, etc.. yeah, then tip 1k. Make it relative.

When fighting in a group; listen to the group members. And remember, there's no i in team. So when folks start assigning tactics, to help the entire group. Do it. Don't be a twit.
Otherwise, that nice healer over there? Won't be healing you.
heres a tip for all those who hate waiting on the shuttle...at least in theed on naboo.
always travel from the theed starport. there is never a wait for the shuttles in the theed starport. its worth the few extra credits not to wait 9 minutes for the next shuttle. but this only seems to be in theed on naboo and only at the starport.
The TAB button is your friend. Live it, love it, learn it.
This is especially true if you are an Overt Rebel or Imperial! Cities are not safe places, learn to hit the tab button every few seconds, pan around yourself tapping it over and over again. You WILL target people hostile to you through the walls, thereby getting the drop on them before they can do the same to you.
Ever stood in the huge spam and lagfest known as "that space in front of the Coronet Starport"? Perfect place for TAB! Pan around, hit tab a few times, see if there's an imperial lurking in the midst to ambush overts -- I've even caught Imperials with a TEF this way more than once whose name was still showing up as light blue/cyan.
I got sick of going to the planetary map to find the cantina, med center, shuttle port and star ports for the various cities I would visit. So I made a macro for finding these places right away:
/find cantina
/find medical center
You get the idea. I also made one for /waypoint.
Works like a charm
Jowabe...Wookie...Jack of All Trades...Master of None
Medics, dancers, there's NO excuse for missing tips notices!
Go to control+O, go to thechat options, and have the chat engine highlight the words tips and heals for you, so it'll jump out at you from the cantina and flourish spam. You'll always know when you've been tipped or healed, and can thank the person appropriately.
Don't forget you can samnple resources in town, when not in a building. If your waiting for the shuttle on Tattoine, you can survey near the shuttle droid since your outside.
As it's been said before don't tip AFK entertainer, we already get easy xp, tip the one who can thank you.
Tip many players small tip instead of one player a big one. Even if I love getting 1k in tip from time to time, I thinks it's better for our profession if we can all get our share, not just the cute Twilek(that's me) in front row.
Nice tip on /dump
For artisans who make BULK subcomponents. You can also usea date to help identifyyour cratesfaster than looking at the Serial Number.
I usually use something like Adv BEC 09032003 or Adv CDRM 09022003.
Another tip I saw today was one that shows you how totalk to quest npcs that are either aggro on you or sorrounded by other mobs that will make it aggro on you. Use /conversationstart from about 50m out.

FIX FACTORIES!
My factories are working just fine and never gave me any problems.
Yours probably don't work cause you haven't put any power in it.
Most aggessive NPC's will agro at precisely 39m. You can use this to single pull NPC's away from their friends by getting to 39m of the one thats on the outer edge of the group, and pulling him back quickly. This is helpful when doing faction missions, or attacking camps of Borvo's, Mauler's, Tusken's etc...
MOBS (creatures) are different, and not seemingly consistent with their agro radius.
