Entertainers and healers of all kinds!

Use the command /register [short for /registerwithlocation] when inside of a cantina or medlab. On the planetary map, instead of the half moon, a sun will appear next to the structure's name. This will also work in player city structures, and will actually appear on the map I hope

You can still tip Entertainer/Medics etc. even if you have no cash on you...

/tip 500 bank

Will draw your funds straight from the bank, there is however a 5% (I think) cover fee to do this. You willa pop up message before the tip is finalised to confirm you wish to proceed as well as an email.

So there's no excuse for not tipping those that truely deserve it.

Here's a fun tip for all of us wanting armoires that WORK... it's not quite the armoire working but it's better than nothing at all and gives that armoire some purpose after all.

Drop your backpack full of clothes then title it 'dresser' drop your armoire over the top of the backpack and whenever you walk up to it type /open dresser and POOF! You have a (functional?) armoire... sort of... or at least it LOOKS like the armorie is where your clothing is instead of having a hovering backpack in the air looking silly.

Re: /move

You can use forward or back with /move. Also, I've so for have been able to go as high as 50 (be carefull :smileywink. i.e.

/move <forward or back> <1 - 50>

The need to add up and down as well as a little extra precision (0.1 to 50.0) for artisans making product displays.

In addition to /move, there is /rotate which allows you to specify the degrees (max 180 degrees). e.g.

/rotate <left or right> <1-180>

This isn't really a tip, but it's something that a lot of people don't seem to know.
It's actually in the manual, but I know lots of people don't read manuals.

For the combat wombats:

If you are returning fromwars with oodles of wounds in every pool and triple figure Battle Fatigue, don't come to the Medical Centre!

Get your ass over to the cantina, or hotel, and Chill Out!
Let the dulcet tones and rythmic movements of the entertainers soothe your mind (wounds) and battle (fatigue) weary mind.
Then, and only then, should you make your way to the medics and doctors.

It's much easier and more efficient to heal a relaxed person than someone pumped up on adrenaline and endorphines (and whatever else you people take when your out killing).

To put it in pure gaming terms: It's easier for medics to heal you if you have no Battle Fatigue.

Migrate those HAM stats to your style of play if you hunt. This advice does npt apply if you don't kill things.

Solo…no medic skill at all
Keep Constitution, Quickness, and Willpower rather high. For instance if you have 1000 Health, keep Str at 400 and Con at 400. This allows you to heal fast and be ready for the next battle.

Solo…with medic skill
Drop Constitution and Quickness as low as they can go. Take Willpower up. This allows Willpower to heal your mind fast…so you can heal your Health and Action fast with stims. You will be much faster at healing your Health and Action with stims than sitting and letting the Constitution and Quickness do it for you.

Group play
Migrate yourstats like solo with medic skill. Someone in your group will usually have some healing skills.

If you play in groups a lot, the Mind incap is the worst incap to get (as no one can heal you, and you have to wait it out).

Player Vs Player
Take you Mind pool up to at least that of your Health and Action bars. The best attacks in the game go to another player'shead.

Other Considerations

  • If you use a lot of special moves that make your Health, Action, or Mind stats go down fast, then take your Strength, Quickness, or Focus up respective to which ever stat goes down with the special moves. For example, if you use a gun, take Quickness up as far as it will go.

  • Health, Action and Mind bars should be relatively even.

  • Take your Health, Action, or Mind pool up if you find this is the most common incap you get.

A Survey Mission Grind tip:

Here's the principle:

  1. Survey missions canbe completed in a city as long as you are 1024m away from the terminal that issued the mission.Yes, cities have resources you can survey and sample. You just can't harvestthem.

  2. You can shuttle between cities a lot faster than you can run 1024m.

After a resource shift, go on a world tour.

Visit every shuttleport and starport, and survey for gas, ore and metal next to the port. Pay attention to those ports that have 1) a nearby Artisan terminal and 2) one of these resources at or over 70%. If you find two such ports, you're good to go. Buy a batch of roundtrip tickets to keep from having to hit the terminal every run.

Here's how a run works: At port A, visit the Artisan terminal, sort by Pay and hit refresh until you get a 900 credit mission for the resource at B. (Hint: line up the Mission Details Exitand Missions Refresh buttons so that rejecting a mission is essentially a double-click.) Pick up two missions. (Each percentage under 70% pays 30 cr less, 870 credits for a 69% mission, etc). Shuttle to B, survey, get paid 1800 cr, repeat. If you're quick, you can do 2-3 trips before the shuttle leaves.

Note that a shuttle is always available at the Theed starport and there is an Artisan terminal just outside the door. I use Theed/Kadaara Shuttleport for the fastest money when the resources are placed correctly...

For example if Theed starport has 68% aluminum and Kadaara has 78% Gas, in Theed pick up 900-credit Gas missions, and in Kadaara, pick up 840-credit metal missions.

Since mission terminals don't move, after your initial survey, you will know which cities won't work. For example, the Lake Retreat on Naboodoesn't have an Artisan terminal, so don't bother trying there.
