I went to Dantooine the first week of release... and of course didn't have enough credits to get back. I ran around for a while taking the sites (it's still my favorite planet). After about and hour of running around not seeing anyone at all, I finally decided to bear down and try a mission so I could afford a ticket off planet. So I used my novice marskman, novice scout skills to.... well... I died really quick. When I cloned back at the outpost I started running back out of the building, but right in the entrance barring my path was the scariest wookiee I had ever seen. He didn't say anything to me at all and I've only seen him once in game since then, but it was just freaky at the time because I hadn't seen anyone in such a long time.... (btw... I eventually got off planet when one of my friends "bailed" me out.)

I remember opening day, waiting outside the gaming store for my copy.... getting it home assured that the servers had been tested and were ready to go.... unfortunately the login servers weren't ... Needless to say I didn't go to class that day... just kept trying to relog.

I remember when paralope lairs made for a good two-man mission.

First rule I learned: DON'T SHOOT THE RASPS on TALUS... THEY WILL KILL YOU.... ... ... QUICKLY!

/cry.... so many memories.

God i love following the ships in the sky line

Remember day 1 seeing all those ships in the sky and wondering that travel must be real fast

then came apon a shuttleport and the famed 10min wait:

and the first time i got my first scout blaster god i was king till i found a mountain squil

My friend had a nest of Shauputs (sp) spawn right in front of her house once, and she couldn't leave. So I hightailed it out of Theed to come rescue her with my awesome scout blaster. Took us an hour to clear them out enough that she could leave the house. I asked, "Well, why did you build your house so close to their nest?" ahhhh noobs.

I also enjoyed the corpse runs. Running back in your underwear to get your stuff to find your body surrounded by thugs (=P) waiting for an opening so you can run in and snatch your loot.

How excited I was when I discovered /bandflourish. Much to the annoyance of all the other players (not everyone was AFK back then).

First time I saw someone do 1000 points of damage

I also wondered why the shuttle model was broken and I couldnt walk up the ramp into the ship

I remeber a buddie of mine killian were running missions on corellia and got whipped by a group of butterflies lol.Those were the days trying to figure out an mmorpg and getting beat all at once.I miss it kinda somtimes wont ever be that way again.Seeing all the cities filled everyday it was an experience.Ha I got beat my first time at jabbas so bad that I didnt even have any red in my bars lol.

I remember the first run out there took like 20 mins I think.It was alot of fun.Maybe space exp will have the same effect and alot of old friends will come back.

I remember...

1) When Wayfar used to be the place to be.

2) Camps were setup everywhere outside the front of Camp Tusken

3) Seeing my first Dewback pet and thinking, "Now that's awesome!"

4) Setting a bottle of bubbles on my UP arrow key to run long distances. (I didn't know about the Num Lock Key...Thanks Kistria)

1) Finaly earning 1500 FP to buy a Rebel trooper. /think "Storm troopers Kill me so easy, now I can kill anything !!"

2) Non agro Baz nich missions paying 10k. /think "With all this money I can finaly get a house. I wonder where to buy one?"

3) First time I accidently hit the Alt key without relizing what I had done. /think "Great I broke it and can't use my mouse to walk anywhere, I hope that narglach dosn't see me."

4) Burst running up stairs at jedi ruins on Dantooeen, while typeing /jump in an attempt to get to above platform.

Those were the days. I remember getting owned by a pack of nunas, not realizing that attacking a lair spawned more creatures!!! Anchorhead was the happening place for all newbies and there was tons of people around chatting, selling things, and people doing those annoying rebel delivery missions that spammed the spacial chat. I remember actually enjoying being inside a cantina, justsitting around chatting with people. Spendinga ton of time ondestroy and delivery missions and making my first 10k, thinking that I was rich.

Going to Dathomirfor the first time with a friend and hearing the creepy musicand the dark scenery. I remember saying to my friend "Are you sure I'm high enough level to be here? I got a bad feeling about this place, plus I don't have enough credits to get back!"

I remember the 45+ minute run from the science outpost to the imperial base on dathomir, trying to tame my first graul. Getting killed then running back for another 45 minutes.

I remember when i was doing a delivery mission to Bela Vista from Coronet with nothing more than a Novice Brawler holding a Dagger then half hour into the trip i saw a little "Running Man" in my F5 tool bar..... needless to say i almost Burst Ran into a Molted Wrix lair.

One of my best memories was spending all my money on a one way trip to Yavin (i was a uber Level 3 One handed Brawler) however as soon as i got there i noticed that i never had any money to get back so i had to take a delivery mission to the Labour Outpost with Mask Sent breaking all the time only to walk all the way there and have a blank Waypoint. Looking back now it wasn't so bad i met a /drunk Wookiee named Spitbacca we hunted and talked for a bit, (I've still got the screen shot of us at camp) after about an hour of dieing we both logged and as luck would have it when i logged on the next day i had sold so much stuff on the Bazzaar i could leave Yavin /cheer we stayed in contact for months and now i'm a Milita member of his town.

Starting out on Rori, when NOBODY ever went there. Ghost towns.

Shooting the **edit** out of flewts, thinking I'm badass.

Running like hell from flewts, because I thought you had to shoot the nest to keep any from spawning.

My first trip to the clone center, courtesy of the flewts.

Finally figuring out the shuttles. Then, running 50c delivery missions so I could use the shuttles.

Entering Theed for the first time, and being awed by all the players running around.

The first time I went Rancor hunting. Brown trousers time, let me tell you.

Getting chased through town by half a dozen Maulers, and watching everyone scatter.

Challenging someone to a duel, just to see what it was like. Two idiots in bone armor, shooting at each other with the starter CDEF pistols. Took a while.

Looting my first force crystal and then giving it away because I couldn't use it.

Having a ringside seat as a dozen Imps and a dozen Rebs go bonkers in a cantina.

Then, of course, are the Beta memories. Floating 100 feet in the air was nifty. Seeing the shrub, and all the lunatics bowing and chanting to it. 999,999 XP terminals...
