now the icing on the cake would be that space bar makes you jump. i always wished we could jump. (and don't say its technically impossible because WoW i know cna do it and i think EQ2 can too).
Jumping is possible.. but it'd be code intensive and one thing would happen as a result once it was added... tons of CS calls with people getting stuck in spots never imagined because they jumped into / off something unexpected. While I would LOVE to be able to jump over those pebbles in my path, it would cause a whole flurry of issues and as such would likely take a lot of time to code and test to make sure it didn't turn out that way. So I don't think we'll see it in the near future but I would like to see it one day,

good points.
but i still want to jump.
Ive used /jump a lot, unfortunatly it creates an emote sign, so you risk spamming your fellow players with /jump emoted =(

P.S. I didn't know about that bug and will have it looked into, when did it first happen?

I first posted about it the 17 of last month, and that was after ruling out the cause was my operating system.
In essence the "Num Lock Bug" is that num lock is not disabled, so when num lock is presses to start autorun (or to stop it) using the number keys to navigate will fill up the chat box. Unless you use a setting where you have to press enter to write in the first place.
And even when num lock is off so the number will not fill up the chat box, the + and - from zooming in and out still will.
N.B. Everyone knows that tin foil hats do not work... you need a faradail cage.

Numlock works as it always have for me.
However "-" (next to right shift, i believe its "/" on us/english keyboards) sometime this past week finally starter working as /comm, has never worked for me before... now it stopped working again.
Using a danish keyboard.
Cant wait to try out the new interface, sounds interesting.Message Edited by th0mas on 02-05-2005 06:16 AM
It is on TC now, though the New SWG version has at least one problem I saw tonight.
How is this for oblivious to the community? Please go check your bug threads bud it's in there every day. Since the last major publish, the one where Dance buffing got gimped shortly, it's been happening. It affects chat and everything. Although, it only affects us ambitious people who us the numpad for macros.

What are the odds that Num Lock was broken when some of the code to get the new system to work was put in?
Better get a tin foil hat. This was coded in the last week.

One of them is typical MMOG (wasd) the other is SWG.
You don't have to hit enter to chat in the new SWG version of the interface either.
