yeah, I suppose everyone does it their way. although I still dont agree on the fact that 'the complete guide to the dbw' is based on jedis, I do think this is the best 'jedi group guide to the DWB'.

interesting guide

Ye... of course there could be other ways. My guide explains basically everything you need to know about the bunker. And how we managed to "conquer" it.

I wrote it because the former guides on this forum always had something that was completely wrong. And that was annoying when reading them, then finding out afterwards, that it's wrong.

The guide is ment to be a help for those who wants to try out the DWB. Everyone finds their own ways, and that's how it's supposed to be.

Yep i'm sure. Ever since they fixed it so the Overlord actually drops the Jetpack Stabilizer.

It's possible that the Overlord also has Protective Liquid Coating and Binary Liquid in the loot tables, but since he already has the Jetpack Stabilizer as a 100% drop, it's highly unlikely that you'll ever loot anything else from him. But since i'm not working at SOE,I can't tell for sure.

But i know the Protective Liquid Coating is looted off Ghosts and Wraiths. We got ours from a Wraith

You're right then I remember it used to be the Overlord (see the very old first guide about the DWB), but i was probably changed with the Overlord fix !

Nice guide, however I think you need to put a bibliography in it seeing how you stole most of you info from Snow’v DWB guide. Check the date stamp he posted before you.

You gotta be kidding? Half of that guide is wrong...

If i'd stolen anything, i'd write it. I "stole" the map made by someone on Fanstar... i wrote that pretty specific.

Go jump in the lake or something... move your flame elsewhere.

1) i am not flameing you, your guideis more complete than Snowy's.

2) Snowy's posted his guide before you and i not going to nit pic your guide on this forum, but I found several things that you said that we word for word the same as snowy’s guide. If you had posted ware you got your info, like how you referenced the map made by someone on Fanstar, I would have never questioned your guide.

3) Considering how many of snowy’s friends I have seen running around with jet packs I don’t think his guide is that bad.

Ok, so i should do like this: The info used to make this guide is OUR OWN info, unless written otherwise. We have gotten it from being inside the bunker like every day for a month. Testing... trying.. failing... succeeding.

I haven't stolen any info from other guides. Just because something is similar, doesn't mean it's stolen. It just means that we both agree on the same.

If i'd stolen any info i'd write it, just like i did with the map i've used. I've told you that already, so could we please end this pointless debate? You like his guide better obviously, then use that. I couldn't care less actually. I even said i made this guide because the other guides i've read on this forum had 50% correct info, and 50% that was wrong. It's the very first lines in my guide.

I like the guide, but it has 2 fundamental flaws:

1) you base your dmg on jedis.

As you stated, these are very fragile persons, and very hard to come by. With our group (with 0 jedis) we managed to do 2 craft runs in less then 2 hours (we crafted the second part before our mind buffs ran out).

You can get equally good results on a group without jedi. If you have a good, well balanced group, you will never ever run out of mind buffs!

the key factor on 'good' groups is imo commando flames... dont underestimate their dmg.

How many people are in your group exactly? I'd be surprised if it was less than 12-15 without any jedi. Our last group was comprised of 4 jedi and 3 tanks and we were easily able to craft a jetpack and finish the foremans quest (again) from the dirty battery stage.

I agree that commando's are good down there, but there is only one situation that I can think of that involved fighting more than one SBD. That is the 3rd key (mine key) and we easily do that by having the jedi do dervish 2 towards the wall all the way down the hall from the door terminal. In fact, the majority of the fighting is 1v1 if done properly and dervish is usable pretty much everywhere in the mines where you are forced to fight more than one enemy at a time.

There isn't just one way to do it obviously, but I would have to say jedi are more effective doing damage than anyone else down there. Of course you just need to have access to 4-6 that will go down with ya

It was a nice guide.

I just want to say regarding core group, since not everyone are jedi or have a jedi in their guild. yet.

We have used Tanks and as you say Rifleman for damage dealing. Except for jedis there is no other proffession that comes close to a rifleman down there when it comes to dealing damage, period We have had crafting runs with as few as 5 or 6 people and I would say that a group of about 10 is best suited, with more people it can get chaotic and hard to move around in a tight group.

Sticking together and thinking "group" before "me" is the key to success. Make sure everyone knows the plan, no running around, everyone do what they are supposed to do .. not more and not less

Controlling the situation is important. When you controll the mobs and have their and yours positions "locked" its just a matter of taking them down. Watch it so you dont fight in a big spawn, let the SBDs that are in your area live until all else is dead otherwise they will only respawn and you have to kill them again.
