Nice guide, however I think you need to put a bibliography in it seeing how you stole most of you info from Snow’v DWB guide. Check the date stamp he posted before you.

I like the guide, but it has 2 fundamental flaws:

1) you base your dmg on jedis.

As you stated, these are very fragile persons, and very hard to come by. With our group (with 0 jedis) we managed to do 2 craft runs in less then 2 hours (we crafted the second part before our mind buffs ran out).

2) you use the mind buff "exploit"

I really detest any kind of exploit used in the creation of something 'unique'. no exeptions.

You can get equally good results on a group without jedi. If you have a good, well balanced group, you will never ever run out of mind buffs!

the key factor on 'good' groups is imo commando flames... dont underestimate their dmg.

You gotta be kidding? Half of that guide is wrong...

If i'd stolen anything, i'd write it. I "stole" the map made by someone on Fanstar... i wrote that pretty specific.

Go jump in the lake or something... move your flame elsewhere.

1) why is it a flaw that i base the "damage" on jedi? it works very well. And tbh, jedi is not that hard to come by anymore.

2) i wrote that it's an advantage. For crafting runs it's not really needed. But for new ppl who would like to test out the bunker, and since filling is bugged like hell, i wrote it. If filling wasn't bugged, it wouldn't be needed.

The fact about commando flamers was left out on purpose, simply because it's random HAM bar, and the damage is more or less based on the health DOT of the fire. Which simply is too slow to be really effective. And commandos are virtually as fragile as jedi.

commandos as fragile as jedi? I dont know if you have done many DWB runs, but you must have noticed that going a full defenisve template affects nothing on the hit rate of the sbds!! they have insane accuracy (like all the 'super high lvl' mobs in swg). I know because I've been on both opposites (a defence stacker master fencer template with dodge food and a cob macro.. and a so called 'fragile' commando). the only thing everyone has over jedi is armour.. and hell it makes a hughe difference.

on the duration of the burns: from this remark I presume a jedi group takes on each sbd individually.. what we do is to gather alot of enemies around us (usually 2-3 sbds, some bds and some dwb), and use melee area attacks on so called 'safe zones'. [jedi melee areas are not allowed since they have a bigger range]. by the time sbd 1 had been killed by the group (and all the other mobs around us), the other sbd's have gotten a hughe hit by the burn.

Again, I do not see how you could ever make eg 2 craft runs in 2 hours with a jedi group.. They depend way too much on their force bar.

I must admit though that my experience in full jedi orientated groups is limited.

The damage the mobs does is affected by the TOUGHNESS of the templates you bring downthere. That's why TKM's are so effective tanks, cause of their huge toughness. Commandos have no such thing.

We brought down commandos on one of our first runs... didn't work out very well. Hence why i left it out of the guide.

If you wanna see our crafting runs, just watch the movies. They're all there.

And about the forcebar... since i've been in every run... also the Foreman's quest.. with my jedi, i know all about forcebar.

I wrote in the guide how to play as a jedi downthere. Channel force is a requirement. And to trust your CM is also a requirement. Cause if you heal yourself as a jedi, you burn way too much force. Only use your selfhealing abilities as emergencies. I use it on the video once... Helmet Crafting, inside the crafting room, where both myself and our CM got dizzy/kd.

But neither myself, or the other jedi from the guild who have tried our DWB runs, have had issues with force as soon as they learned how to play downthere. it IS different than how you normally would do.

If you watch closely when our CM (which is the cameraman) checks his buffs at a few occations and so on, you can see the time left on them. Then you have a fair idea about how far we are. We don't even buff up outside the bunker when we're going to craft. It's not needed. With 4 Jedi in the team, it takes us roughly 45 seconds to kill a SBD. That's why we can do it so fast. Due to no area attacks at all, and an experienced team, we only fight the mobs we have to. nothing else.
