Thread: What has been your best / favourite / most enjoyable moment in SWG since you started playing?

There really are soo many. I'll start with the time I solo'd a Ronto just out of Bestine. I was a scout with novice pistoleer. the game was just a couple weeks old. I started with a bleed on the Ronto and was expecting to kite him using burstrun. As soon as he caught up to me, I knew I was toast. He incapped me, then I realized I had drug him into some womprats. Well, womprats hate Ronto's and 3 rats were all attacking and keeping him busy. I just had my best idea yet, when I get up, I'm gonna back off and help the womprats kill this thing, and I did. then I pulled another ronto and drug him into womprats. This was working beautifully. I solo'd about 4 of these ronto's and got amazing experience for it. I posted it on the forums and started a big argument cause everyone was saying that it must have been an exploit for me to kill ANY red mobs, and that it was unintended for anyone to solo reds. Lol.
When my other character mastered dancer for the first time. Never afk, never begging for tips, always talking to my customers, affording my houses and clothing on just great tips. When my master said "I'm so proud of you".
Then, after a litle bit of hologrinding for BH (yeah how sick is that to give BH to a dancer?) then mastering a lot of other professions and promising to go back to dancing once I was done with grinding a few professions. My whole guild was there when I attained master dancer again. My master said "about damn time", lol. I cried good tears and was one of my besterestest moments.

when i was in my mabari armor in bestine..right after a storm squad attacked me after scanning... going to bazaar to get a new rifle and a guy in composite killing...
i went mad after that and as soon as i got master i killed him...i love revenge...

Taking out an enemy DJK as a Master Weaponsmith, Master Artisan, Master Merchant ,3000 Rifleman without firing a shot ................Damn I love Minefields (I made the mines and the powerups and loaded them into the field 5 min before the DJK decided to tapdance on them

My most enjoyable moments were in the early days before vehicles,mounts, and POI waypoints I explored the entire planet of Tatooine on foot. It took me forever and I ended up stumbling into a lot of really cool things and dangers. I was searching for the krayt graveyard and never did find it, but I eventually learned how to avoid a mob without getting aggro and without maskscent.
I still to this day just love exploring things...... I still havent even been to every land POI or seen every nook and cranny of the world and I enjoy these things the most.

Wow.. like a lot of other people, there are a few really cool SWG moments (and one that's simply related) so here are my top 5, in no real order, though somewhat chronological:
1. The day that creature mounts came out, one of my RL friends, MrThallid, gave me a carrion spat. I remember going and getting this HUGE BE critter that was in the house we all shared, then taming it and finding out that it couldn't be a mount for a few days!! Thallid did it again when vehicles came out, and my friends and I all had oops on the very first day. I think they cost him 100k each, lol... but he was a smuggler, so he was rich!!
2. The first time I went hunting with my jedi friend Aril we were hunting stormtroopers. I was so busy taking screenshots that I completely forgot to even fight the stormies!! It was at that moment that I KNEW I was in the Star Wars world.. to see a Jedi kicking Stormtrooper butt!!
3. The first time I ever exited Jabba's Palace, the doors opened, and there was a HUGE rancor standing outside patiently waiting for it's master. Ack!!! I swear I screamed IRL at that one!!!
4. Cheesy as it may be... the first time a friend let me borrow their Jedi, Chernobyl. I got to run around as a green wookiee in a chef's hat, swinging a lightsaber. Life was complete.
5. Going up in my SoroSuub Luxury Yacht for the first time. My friends and I must of spent a good couple of hours taking turns piloting, and runnign around saying "This is so freaking cool!" or "Look!! There are spaceships flying around outside the windows!" or "Holy crap, is that a YT-1300??? OMG! I just swear I saw Slave 1!! etc..."
And simply on a related note... the first time I saw Episode I after starting to play SWG... We were living outside Theed, down the river from the waterfall, and when the ships took off from the Theed Spaceport in the movie, we all shouted "Look!! I can see my house from here!!"

My favorite moment was when iwas in a guild that had been started on tatooine, the leader became so corrupt that he had tried to get a good friend of his banned because the leader thought that his friend was trying to take the guild from him. The friend left the guild and started a new one which i joined when i made sure the old guild wouldnt need me anymore. was a good time seeing old friends again!

I think one of my best or favorite moments had to be when I got KD in pistoleer. Not only could I now shoot from range but I could actually KD my target. lol I was mainly a crafter and this was before buffs or at least before I had ever heard of buffs and I had some of the best chitin on the server.
My second has to be being an uber pistoleer 1/2/2/2 and seeing a TKM take down 6 pickets and the lair in a matter of seconds well seemed like seconds compared to the 10 minutes it woulda taken me. Bought my 2nd account 2 days later and started brawler

My best moment was going off to the Krayt Graveyard to kill krayt dragons before they got buffed up, before vehicles existed, and mostof all, before some idiots put a player city on the graveyard so the krayts have practically gone extinct. It was just a very fun moment to march through those dunes with a lagre group, and fighting off the mobs of creatures and tuskens. It was more fun after all that led to a nice fight with a canyon krayt dragon.
My most recent best moment was attempting to break the records on three race tracks yesterday, and breaking them, then attempting to break three more today, and breaking those, as well. It was just nice to finally have obtained those race badges I hadn't been able to get for the longest time. I hope they come out with some more race tracks.

Hmm, my best/favourite/most enjoyable moment...
I loved it when I first started playing the game. I had no idea what grinding was. I didnt know a single person in the game. The sheer size of the game was awe inspiring. I dont think I left Mos Eisley for about 2 weeks. I'd take missions for 600 credits and run to the waypoint, thinking 'this is great'.
Eventually, I'd saved up enough to buy a pair of mabari pants, chest and a chitin helmet. Oh yes, we're in business now, those Weequay Champions wont know whats hit them... Of course, after cloning a few times, I knew different.
The memories of being able to finally buy a speeder, but not having enough credits to repair it. Or spending all of my credits buying weapons on the bazaar, I wasnt certified to use. Then putting them back on the bazaar and hoping someone would buy them.
But I would say my best experience in the game was joining my old guild YOG. I needed training in swordsman, so did a search for a master swordsman. I asked him if he could train me, 'no problem' he said 'come to this waypoint'. So off I went, and when i turned up I couldnt see him anywhere (this was long before /findfriend). 'Up here on the roof' he said. He was on the roof of the guildhall with some other guildies. So up I go, only to find they are all up there having pet races around the roof....He asked me if I wanted to join the guild, and I said yes. And they turned out to be a fantastic bunch of guys... the joys of guildchat.
The first guildhunt I went on, was hunting for Krayt Dragons. We all shuttled in to a town near the graveyeard and stood outside the shuttleport. To say I was slightly nervous, would be an understatement. Here I was with all of these players, who had mastered countless professions, and were all wearing composite armour (by this time I had a set of ubese).
All of a sudden one of my guildies (a doctor) started to heal me. I thought 'strange I dont remember having any wounds'. Wow !!, my HAM has just trebeled (my first ever buff). Oh yes, now I truly am invincible..
So all in all, I would say joining my first guild YOG was my most enjoyable experience. There truly were some great guys in that guild. Sadly most of them have left now, to go and play 'that other game', but there are still 3 of us left. Hopefully after the CU they will return...

The 2 best moments for me had to be:
1. My friend took me out to a remote place on Tatooine. I had played KOTOR and had seen a kryat before but never really fought one. We were just running around looking for one and i crested a hill and there one was about 80m down the hill from me. I just stood there in absolute awe because at that time i didnt think anyone could solo something with that much health. I set up a camp and just watched it. It walked up the hill and basically breathed on me and i got incappictated. Isaid "OMGthat was so cool" lol
2.A few weeks ago a guildmate and a good friend were trying to get Knight so they had to go find a Giant Canyon Kryat. I was on Dantooine when i got the tell asking for help they found one. Thankfully a friend of mine had their yacht parked at agro outpost since i dont have jtl yet. We traveled to tat crashing a few times in the process. When we got there i ran right in and started taunting the dragon to attack me instead of the jedi. I was like what the heck am i doing this thing will kill me. Then i spammed intimidate on it and it was only doing like 40 damage to me through the comp armor. After we finally beat it (no loot of course)another spawned and the fun started all over again.
The most suprised i have ever been was the first time a jedi healed my wounds. I thought he was peeing on me. lol
