Do you all know what the term NDA means? Do you all know what 'In Development Means'? Do you know what 'we won't tell you anything too far in the future means because every time we do, and something changes, you all whine and moan and groan' means?

It means that no one is EVER happy about ANYTHING the Devs do. Mainly beacuse not everyone wants the same thing. Some people want content... so they put some people on content while they rework the combat system. Waaaaaa... we want combat upgrades not loot. Waaaa.... this time could have better been used in the combat upgrade. Waaaa.... I want a friday feature filled with information that will likely change before it ever gets published to me so I can hold it against you in a week.

TH,Tiggs and other Devs have stated time and time again that the CU will be developed with the help of a FOCUSED group of individuals (Correspondents and their 5 picks) for the first round, then moved into closed beta, then probably over to TC. These are most probably huge changes that you nor I have no ability to grasp at this time. Situation 1: they tell us everything they are doing, some people will cheer, some people will whine, some people will cry nerf. The masses get in the way of a fair and balanced development and hold back what with some focused refinement could be a great idea. Situation 2: they tell us everything they do and then some major change goes in that goes against one group or for another. People suddenly are outraged beause of the change, etc etc. Once again what is a normal part of the development cycle gets stalled, stonewalled, cried about by the community before it reaches MATURITY.

The Combat Upgrade needs time to MATURE. They have been working, in one form or another, more or less, for months now. How much is done, I have no clue. But I have a pretty good guess that it's not in a mature enough form for the masses to digest. When it is ready for more people to get a look at it THEN they will allow that. Till then sit down, take a shot of your favorite liquor and if you want to b*tich about something then find a new cause. There are lots of things they are telling us that could use some constructive critizism.

Ok.... that's all for now. 1-star at your pleasure, it's a cheap shot at someone telling you what you already know.

You call us whiners? We arent whining, we are largley irate customers. Irate at the inability of this company to deliver a product that meets expectations. I could shred every piece of your argument, but I'll stick with the one most foolish item...

You actually want to say that we have to be silenced and kept in the dark because of some "great idea" these people are gonna have? Like the FRS that was crammed down our throat??? THe same FRS that players screamed bloody murder about on testcenter, but that received NO substantive changes??? These are the same people that have brought us countless "great ideas" like the hologrind, the christmas hologiveaway, the "village", and the list goes on and on....the reason the devs are keeping it secret is because the CB is really going to be nothing bit a large - massive, even - number of nerfs to every weapon and set of armour, and normal combat class, in the game. Since nerfs are largely unpopular, they are trying to avoid all the negativity, since everyone will be getting nerfed in some way, shape or form.

Great ideas like the loot REVAMP? A loot revamp is where a damn NS elder doesnt drop 800 creds for me when then I go kill an NS ranger and get 2800 creds. Or when i kill 3 Ancient krayts in a row and they are all damn empty...NOTincluding worthless posters or silly furniture whenI already have a house full of worthless "uber" loot that isnt worth a damn.

Devs for any game will not be able to please everyone, but these devs have teh best fallback rationale ANY group could ever hope for...STAR WARS itself - we have all seen the movies countless times...we all know that blasters ARE THE weapon of this time frame. We know that light jedi arent 24/7 mass murderes and seekers of constant conflict. We know that dark jedi use the force differently and have different powers than light jedi. We know that there are weapons more powerful than fire. We know that a CM, something we never saw a hint of in the movies, should not be the most uber class. We know blasters are better than fists. We know a melee'er without the force should be blaster fodder. We all know there is a massive war on, that is a real struggle. We all know that a muliplayer ship, like the YT-1300 should be the equivalent of several small fighters, not be a flying deathtrap. The list could go on forever. Yet these developers have chose not to follow the vision we all know. And these inconsistencies are glaring and unforgivable. And we have been waiting for 1.5 years to see this improve...

I must agree with this poster. I don't wanna grind Jedi, I want to be a BH, plain and simple. If when the CU comes in and Jedi is the only combat profession worth playing, then I'll leave, this will no longer be the game for me.

The dangling of the CU/CB, whatever they wanna call it today, has kept the ranged community on hold for a long time now. We want answers! We wanna know that all the work we put into mastering our professions will pay off in the end.

This is a joke right a gag...... players leaving, accounts being cancelled, everyone dieing to know anything any little jot or tiddle about this all encompassing CU that will break or make this game and our feature is a page having fansite links? UNbelievable. Are you wanting us to leave the game? Is this part of an active startegy to purge the older players from the game? I thought last weeks feature was a slap in the face this week's is absolutely unbelievable.

You know what? If they had posted a little scrap of information there would be plenty of unhappy people wanting to either know more, or wanting different info, so go ahead and post your discontent, but I'm not so sure anyone would be any happier with a little info. Besides, they've given a little info already. Try here and here.

I never said you don't have the right to speak your mind about a game in which you pay for a service they provide you. But you are not paying that money for them to obey your requests for information or even for them to provide you great updates. You are paying to play the game.

They are working on it. Your complaints aren't very productive or morale boosting. Basically, they accomplish nothing. You have the right to complain, but that deons't mean you should.

lol, you are SOE's perfect customer. The rest of us like to call them on their BS when they lie to us, dont fulfill promises, or just plain fail to listen. They continuously fail to figure out that this game belongs to us now. We dont like it, we dont play, it dies. Its that simple. We arent the ones that lied. We arent the ones that failed to follow Lucas' vision. We arent the ones that made a fist better than a blaster. We arent the ones that made a hammer better than a lightsaber. We arent the ones that made fire (mind fire DoT) the most dreaded weapon in a galaxy of faster than light travel and beam weapons. But hey, if you want to sing their praises, knock yourself out. But patting people on the back for a job poorly done IS NOT very productive and accomplishes nothing. You have the right not to complain and kiss butt, but it doesnt mean you should.
