im helping new players almost each time i see them or they coming to me usually, help them to get prepared from hunting gorgs and rats on tatooine to hunt on dantooine real xp, and guide them how to do it alone, that way they become to be stronger in the game and more quickly and they dont get used to help when they see how its work.

well sometimes it takes a bit credits, but after all, thats a game

but dont give more after the first time, even if they ask for, you dont need them to get used to donates believe me.

very nice to see that you care about the new dude's

what an awesome post. i've been playing since the game came out, and i love helping new players get on their feet. i won't give them free money, but i'll take them hunting with me, and try to keep them alive and having fun for as long as i can. that being said, any new players that want to go out and kill some big stuff for good exp and fun, /tell Pee'Ayche and we'll set something up!

In regards to the begging issue - I make a special effort to stop newbs standing around in the starports asking for credits by offering them equipment or a speeder or something instead. That way you are helping them out without giving them a straight-out handout. Also, if they aren't a newb and just some annoying twit trying to make a few extra credits by putting on starting clothing and begging then they aren't going to want equipment as they likely already have it, so that ruins their little game. But I have still been know to occaisionally give cash handouts to people who ask nicely and politely.

A army of Newbies and a bh

You be suprised how many newbies want to be bh's they always ask if they can go on a bh mission with you they tell their friends to come with them before long you have an army i didnt even have to use any special attacks to defeat my enemy npc they ask if they can use ur llc u say yes and they attack something they never hit a single time its even funnier looking when there characters are small because a llc isa big gun. they also like usingthe /puke command on seeker droids. but that was a long time ago now half of those newbies are master bhs and we hunt jedi together those that didnt delete their characters so in the end those newbies save your character in battle especially after a week or when fighting jedi. in other words to make a long storie short be nice to newbies and dontchangeur title to novice brawler and marksman and duel them they get disapointed when they lose a battle especially after they get their 1st skill box the best way to cheer a newbie up is to let them defeat u in battle just use tera kari if u dont have any brawler skills.

Wonderful story. Be careful about giving out your LLC, though.

I've always enjoyed helping newbies. The only problem I find with it is people moving from a different server and acting as if they are new. Anyways when I help out the new folks I like to chat with them a bit and find out what they plan on doing. If they are taking a crafting skill I generally suggest picking up a fighting skill to defend themself while samplingresources. I will generally set them up with something specific to their trade (i.e. crafting stations, weapons, droids . . . whatever it may be that thier profession can use) as well as credits, granted credits come easy for those of us with mastered elite professions but remember back when we were new and wish we could afford that really cool weapon we had just got certified for, or wished we could be taught without wasting hours looking for someone because we couldn't afford the npc. Anyways I hope to be helping out again soon, went broke mastering commando lol. Nice post it's great to see "Vet guides"

Problems, this is a great post... by far the best one have seen in the whole three weeks I have been playing SWG. I was helped a lot by three guys from a guild named WAR on the Radiant server.Let me tell you I was begining to dislike the game because I could only kill little stuff and was getting bored by it.They tought me a lot in a few hours and I now enjoy the game!!!
