I was glad to get rid of mine.. i had 2.. sold them for 8mil each....ahhh I'm so glad to be rid of the responsibility. I can once again log off for more than 2 days at a time~ WOOT

If the plant is not loaded into game world it will not be updated. That is if you have it in a house that none will enter the plant will not update and not grow/consume water/nutrient. Don't put the plant where many people come and go or you will have no control over the growth process. At least not until it has reached Large plant and you have a working combo of water/nutrient. But still if you go away for a couiple of days, keep it in a secure location (or in your inventory).

OK im not to good with how things work, but if we ALL have the file the tree.de or whatever its called.....its a SCRIPT right??? so tell me this ...they wrote it to make every sinlge plant diffrent????? thats alot of work ...doesnt make sense to me ...but again i dont know anything about programming games and how this all works.
my plant has been a LARGE one for about 2 weeks now, i am currently trying to get it to get a postive growth i am using EHOTOBI ( or somehthing like that ) TALUSIAN WATER VAPOR ( NARITUS server ) dont now OQ on it...and im tryhin to find some HIGH OQ PE ORAGNIC nutrient. i notced that it updates teh plant about 20 minutes AFTER you enter where it is, roughly that time frame. Is the Fruit even worth it? do you have to be a JEDI to eat it?
Honestly im thinkin that this PLANT is a crock of nothing ...something to trow at us to keep us busy from grinding FSXPs, how we gonna know if its bugged?? i dunno i like my plant but feel that it will be a neer ending headache...............

Ok Suppose I agree with the health being the indicator of hit points
Growth is direction on the hit point scale the indicator is travelling
OQ on the resource is the amount of%food aborbed by the plant.
DR is the time it takes for it to absorb
I've seen several posts saying that the water/nutrient levels update both at the same time.
So.. assuming they both update at the same time I've added up the 2 DR's and got 120, assuming that's in minutes i'm hoping for an update after 2 hours (120 minutes)
The larger the plant the more DR it can absorb, so once you have a large and know it's water//nutrient levels hit it with some HIGH OQ//HIGH DR stuff so that it has moreFood to absorb for update so you don't have to keep plugging it every 2 hours.
Maybe even the OQ is an indicator of what% ofFood plant absorbs towards it's life IE 670 OQ is 67% of possible while 995 is 99.5% of total.
An idea, i'll get back 2 hours after my plant was fed and check if it updated on levels
Still small day 2 fair//wilting But I've got the good nutrients and I have my fingers crossed
gonna have it on lower settings seeing as the majority is around the lower settings.
What I DO know is I had it fed with HIGH OQ and HIGH DR stuff and it hasn't updated in 3 days. I have 1 light and a plant for company, sitting in my luxery yaught

Just checked it ... 1 hour after putting in the low DR resources it changed
Sadly it was to wilted/wilted
GAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well if it dies at least i'll be able to afford to buy a new one :\
So now I propose the total of the DR divided by 2 = minutes to update

Let me first sayI love my plant, I cheated and bought it, but love it just the same. Finally something I keep alive rather than kill.
I bought it as a large plant and with a very slow growth rate and perfect condition. in 2 months the guy said he got 3 fruit from it, but spent a bit of that time figuring out the water/nutrient levels it wanted. which is low(b) and wet(b).
I improved the resources and kept the levels the same (I experimented with them and it wilted)
939 DR, 954 OQ Water ...985 DR, 985 PE, 934 OQ Fruit is what Im using now.
Now its growth rate is at Slow and I have gotten 3 fruit in less than a month.
One Thing the guy told me and I have proven, is that the more people that come into your house the more you have to feed/water it. So if yours is in a yacht or closed house the feedings will be once a day or less. Mine is in my vendor shop which gets a fare amount of traffic and Iusually feed it 3 times a day (once before work in the morning, once when i get home from work and once before bed). I just wish the fruit growing was animated into the game so i could see it, I took a fruit and hung it from the tree so it looks like its growing just for the heck of it
Resources are everything once you find what levels it wants.
Has anyone seen a plant that has better than "slow" growth rate, is it possible ?

Lots of people have said they have got 'normal' growth which is 2 up from slow, i myself have only ever got very slow and wilting.
Its currently sitting at | very good | very slow| dry | below normal |
From the sounds of it though having it in a public place is benifical as it updates very quickly, so if you keep the levels right you can get the same result as say i can get (only i can enter the house its in) X times faster.
X being the # of different people who enter the house

I have a large Aurilian plant...
its in my house on Kettemoor server. I am the only one that enters my house unless I invite someone over.
I have my second fruit now. I don't know what I did..I kept the stats mostly at normal, but I didn't do anything special for my plant.
Last time I got a fruit it was 0/1000. Why? lol well I'm working on getting the fruit to good stats but that's it..I don't know what to do with that lol I plan on giving the fruit to a Jedi friend!

I would like to thank everyone for creating this guide, my own advice is just to make sure that your plant is always growing. Find the right water nutriant mix until it is growing in one way or another and keep it constant till it evolves. Then repeat first step. right through to when it starts making fruit. Then continue so far i have been very lucky
