I haven't checked on my plant in several days. This morning I visited my house just before server reset to have a look at it, and found it exactly as I'd left it: medium sized, perfect/below normal/moist(1)/normal(2). I sat there for about 2 minutes while doing some other things on my desk, and then happened to look up and see it change into a large plant. I immediately examined it and it was at perfect/normal/normal/normal. After a minute or so of repeatedly examining it, it updated to full of life/wilting/below normal(2)/normal(1). I then added one unit each of water and nutrients (so that I'd know the exact levels it had been at). I left it at full of life/wilting/normal(1)/normal(2).

I don't know if this will help people figure out the updating process. I haven't had enough coffee yet to determine anything from those observations. I have a lot of questions about the spawning/updating process. It's been at medium size, perfect condition for a little over a week. aachil's theory about spawning rate affecting updating rate may have some credence, but I found it very odd that I spawned the plant after several days of not checking on it, and when I saw the update, it lost basically 3 units of water and 1 unit of nutrients. Part of that loss may have to do with evolving from medium to large, and may have nothing to do with regular usage. It may have to do with simply being there just as the timer hit its update time, or it may be that spawning it made it update.

Also I am really curious about putting the plant on a Sorosuub yacht. If you are not flying on the yacht, does that mean the plant will act just like it does if you put it in your inventory, i.e. will go into stasis? Or will the timer run? This is related to the issue of not visiting your house and spawning the plant - is the timer running and will there be an update when you do get around to spawning it? I guess my question is whether the yacht and a house will act the same way?

That is very interesting. What level of growth was it at? This could be a dupe bug related to the plant changing.

My cantina plant has been changing a lot, it uses nutrient and water two or three times a day (depending on if the cantina is in use overnight). I have discoverd that at large the plant is very sensitive to quality of food. If the food is not very good condition then you get a very narrow band of growth - too narrow to sustain.

I took out all water and nutrient then filled up with decent stuff (950 decay and OQ - the organic has about 700 PE as well). With poor resources if I adjusted the nutrient level by one notch it wilted - that meant I had to top it up just before it used nutrient. With decent resources I have a band of 3 notches to play with and the level goes up to slow, there may be even more leaway.

Sorry for the long delay. it was at the 2nd stage. I just happened to move it and it was still there. checked my inventory and sure enough I had 2. I submitted it to a CSR and got no response.

The one that died did disappear from my house.. thank gawd! It was jinxing my own and it's owner wouldn't pick it up. *sigh* Needless to say, the csr ticket I submitted was answered in a timely fashion .. yet referred me to the forums for more information.

I'm still a bit confused .. with a thread THIS LONGI can't believe no one from SWG has responded ... why are the CSR's sending me here? Isn't that pointless .. you people all have questions, not all the answers .. SWG should have replied to something by now. Don't they have a special "Aurilian Plant Guy/Gal"? Which one of the developers came up with this plant, yet provided no information other than the basics on how to care for it??? Ugh, *sigh*, how rude.

I, too, found a wandering commoner/farmer outside of the village. I did speak to him and he was a bit hesitant about answering my questions .. good thing I got persuasion or I would have had to kill him.

Ok, EVEN THOUGH Dathomir is arid and not all that fertile right now .. it does not mean that it wasn't lush, green and beautiful oncebefore. Sooooooooo .. for all of you trying to go by what Dath's current status is .. you're going to kill your plant.

You should go with the HIGH OQ/PE NUTRIENTS and HIGH OQ WATER. The water level should be "MOIST" and the nutrient level should be "ABOVE NORMAL".

I really think thatHELPED TONS for her health!I then select my plant, then first say, " %TT, What is the Airspeed Velosity of an Unladen Swallow?", I then aggree, hug, nuzzle,pet, lick, then dance for her. I then end the conversation of "What you mean %TT, African or European"? I know it sounds stupid, but I was desprate at the time, she was near death!! I even opened a ticket, but they blew me off. Im soooo happy she's doing good now, yay!! I love my plant! It's the coolist thing I have in the game besides my Dewback I ride around.

-More plants plz! and different species/catus too!!

Well, within 8 days, my plant was dead! 8 DAYS!!8 DAYS!!! 8 DAYS!!!!!!!!! FROM PERFECT TO DEAD, 8 DAYS!!!! WHY??!!??

This may have been a little intense, but I tracked every drop of water I put in her, and every atom of nutrients so I could help others from my experence after Sweetie started producing some fruit. I spent every waking hour for that plantS care. I went fishing throughout the galaxy to find the bestresources to give her, I went to every bazar tofind the best water! My SWG/JTL world stopped when it came to that plant.If you were to ask one of my friend how intensly I tracked everything, they would tell you what afreak I was about Sweetie. There were several times I didnt go on missions with themjust because my plant looked a little "off-colour" or was just "Slowly growing". I even started a tracking system w/ graphs showing water/nutrient levels and when they were applied and when the plant took them! I watched and new the plants schedule of when she drank or ate.Ive had this plant since Phase I and I miss her so much

I am so very sad. I really enjoyed growing her. She was the only presious item I had in the ENTIRE game. I am so very, very, very sad. I havent logged in since this happened. I dont think ill waste my time (or the CSR's) with a tickt, Im sure they dont care or could even do anything. I dont think Ill play anymore. Everyday, the first thing I would do was check my plant or just look at her. Now I have nothing. Even all the paintings I have and the "hero-ball" really dont mean anything to me, it's all garbage compaired to Sweetie. I just dont care anymore I guess, I cant stop crying, Im so devestated and sad, I dont know what I did wrong. I dont even want to play....

I think Phase 1 comes in again on the 28th. Not sure if you can do the mission for it again though. You can atleast try to buy another one

I plan to buy 5-8 of them. So i can have a little forest!
